The product is just how it is described. I am able to stream 1080p gameplay onto my laptop from my ps4 with no issues. The only thing I would tell people is to make sure that you have a good enough laptop or PC or else you will be spending a lot of money on something you can not fully utilize. Check youtube on how to se it up properly, it only takes a minute to do once you understand.

Have been using this product now for about 8 months now. It works perfectly for streaming from my Xbox One X using Streamlabs. I recently had to purchase an HDMI splitter though since I upgraded to a 4K HDR monitor. This capture card only allows you to play in 1080p. But with the splitter I am able to play in 4K HDR and stream in 1080p to Streamlabs. It's great!

If you want to save money in the long run, just buy Elgato. I bought a different capture card for twitch streaming off amazon to save money. I had so many issues. In the end, I had to upgrade to this. Everything was better. From setup, to picture and audio quality and drivers. The HD60S is simple and powerful.

I really wanted to get into streaming, but I wanted to stream not just with my PS4, but my Nintendo Switch. I was recommended by a worker at Best Buy for this product. I have to admit, I was hesitant mainly because of the price, but after using this for a while now, it's worth the money. I will say that getting the best out of this product will depend on your own set up. You have to have a decent computer/laptop to run it, at least a Core i5 or higher. To run 1080 quality without any hiccups, besides a good computer/laptop, you're going to need great internet. My internet is not the best, but luckily you can change the settings to 720 or lower. Not only can I capture with my Nintendo Switch, but you can also stream other consoles as well. The biggest flaw with this product is that there's barely any instructions for it. Not only do you have to go to website to download software for it, the instructions on how to utilize this product is there as well, but it's not enough information. I found myself looking at youtube videos on how to use this device properly. While it is user friendly, I started using another streaming software such as Streamlabs to record. Overall, if you want to take your streaming to the next level, the Elgato is good start.

I purchased this device to capture video from Nintendo Switch. After downloading the app and adjusting the settings it has worked without a hitch. My only small complaint would be that it comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable when my computer has only USB-C ports, it would be nice if they included both a USB-C and a USB-A cable so I wouldn't have had to go out and buy an adapter.

The Elgato will make a huge difference in your stream quality. If you normally stream through your console and use the twitch/mixer app on console to stream, you will need to download a streaming software on your PC to live feed your capture card to your desired streaming platform. You can also use it as a recorder to just capture your gameplay at 1080p so you can edit your footage easily. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Simply a must have for streamers!! Works great and pretty simple to use! Has great quality! I have had a budget one and it did crash so many times before I was able to purchase the Elgato one)!
