Great Game Capture Device
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic game capture device. I have learned so much about streaming on Twitch and using OBS since I purchased it. Very easy to set up and use. Picture quality of the streams is excellent with this.

One of the better capture cards
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for recording and streaming from console. Haven't used it much as I am setting up a proprr recording area but the times I did use it did not disappoint. A bit of a pain to set up at times and if you want to use a headset while recording you need an adapter they sell.

Buy AverMedia Instead.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can count on one hand how many times this capture card was used before it just stopped working. This isn't the first Elgato card I've had issues with. I take good care of my electronics, this was stored properly whenever it wasn't in use, and even when it was in use I had constant issues with software. I tried all the recommended troubleshooting methods, and many methods that other users recommended. I'm honestly not surprised, and more angry with myself that the Elgato bug bit me again. I'll be switching to AverMedia products, Elgato is overpriced garbage.

Terrible Sound Issue
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a gift to myself for my birthday. At first, I thought this was going to essentially be an upgrade to my already existing HD60 S (Which has given me no issues whatsoever.) Downloaded and installed the provided software from the Elgato website. Did one stream and recorded footage for a review I was doing of another product. When I listened to the audio of the footage I had collected it sounded ALL WRONG. Re-recorded some more footage for the review and had the same issue. Decided to check the VOD of my stream and I could hear audio issues there as well. I received a prompt about a new firmware for the device and did it. This still didn't fix the problem. I reinstalled the software and still had the sound issue. The issue shows up in both its proprietary software and Open Broadcast Software (OBS). I'll be returning this at my earliest convience. I had purchased it to enjoy my PS4 Pro and enjoy 4K while streaming 1080p. All I got was headaches. I normally don't hesitate to recommend Elgato and Corsair products, but this is one everyone should STEER CLEAR from until this issue is fixed. Do yourself a favor and just get the normal HD60 S; it'll be cheaper and more accurate than the S+. All I got was $200 worth of headaches.

Posted .Apologies for the issues you've had. Have you used our new software version? The HD60 S+ you have could've been used before we released the correct software on our site, as the card wasn't supposed to be sold before the 24th of September. Please contact us and we'll try our best to help out: help.elgato.com

Easy Setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, great piece of equipment. Set up is super easy! Biggest problem with this is if you have any issues with setup (i.e. echo thorugh mic, compatibility with NVIDIA settings, etc) there is no troubleshooting help through elgato. Best advice is to utilize Youtube for FAQs outside of traditional setup.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does just as advertised! Great product if you have the pc capacity
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for live streaming from a camcorder. Works well. Can be finicky if you experience any disruption from the transmission. If that happens you have to unplug and restart it. Can be intensive to use on the PC resources, especially if you use two of them. But all in all a decent product.

Great. There's a reason people recommend it.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After switching to this from my Avermedia capture device I don't think I'll be switching back. This was very easy to set up and use. Plus it has a slick design that doesn't stand out like my old capture card.

Just works and works on Macs
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the one you need for an Apple iMac, MacBook Pro or Mac Mini. I use mine to connect a Nikon Z6 To my MBP for video conferences, and the resulting video looks better (with proper lights) than television news broadcasts.

Overpriced but works well
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to be able to play Nintendo Switch games in a window on my computer instead of having to switch my TV's input every time I wanted to play my Nintendo Switch. I have tested it with PotPlayer, MPC-BE, and AmarecTV. MPC-BE is my preferred all around software for anything video and unfortunately I could not get it to work with that - just a black screen with only audio working. I did manage to get it working in PotPlayer and AmarecTV. I played my Switch for about an hour and did not notice any frame drops or audio issues in PotPlayer with the capture set at 1080p and 60 fps (1080p60). I did not make use of the HDMI pass through port as I did not find any noticeable input latency. I would've preferred the product itself be more of a square shape to match my other external components such as my external Blu-ray disc drive. I connected it to an external powered USB 3.0 hub on an HP Omen Obelisk Desktop 875-1023 PC and used it with Windows 10 Pro 1909.

Nice
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic purchase. The software was a little bit tricky due to me having to get the 4K Capture software instead of the traditional elgato software, but other than that, amazing!

THE BEST
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an essential piece of hardware if you are wanting to capture gameplay. I have captured somewhere around 300 hours on this card since I've gotten it and I've never had any issues. I love it!

Very easy set up
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.essentially a plug and play device with basic connection instructions. What took me the longest was setting up the proper display settings with my Xbox. This specific capture card doesn't work for 4K settings.
