I bought this and am very happy. It has 4k60fps pass though so I can use my Xbox one x to the fullest instead of having to unplug and replug when wanting to record. I do use OBS to record instead of elgato a free software. It lacks some features that are really needed. Both are free options so I would use OBS

Plug it in and it just works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this model as it is Mac compatible out of the box (The original HD60 S requires workarounds). And it is compatible out of the box. Plugged it in, launched OBS and it worked right away. I was able to get it to work with the supplied cable (which is USB 3 A to C) and with a USB 3 C to C cables too. Just be aware you will need a true data cable and not just a charging cable if you want to go all USB-C.
