Elgato are best in business for a reason!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want to stream games, this is the device you need. You will need a pc or Mac to stream out from, yet the setup is very easy and it won't take long to get started. Make sure you have a laptop or computer with USB 3.0 or USB-C port. It is a bit pricey, yet you're getting quality with that price.

Works but wasn’t the right thing for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works pretty well, software is a little buggy. I for some reason thought it recorded in 4K. Just read the label

Great Card

For video conferencing conversion
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using a few of these to convert camcorders (either 1080 or 4K cams) to USB for Zoom and Webex. So far have been flawless. Notice Lenovo yoga laptops sometimes run Zoom very slowly with these initially for several minutes before clearing up. Think it is related to Lenovo usb drivers. Both Windows 10 and macOS work. Just plug in, start meeting and select the camera.

Great capture card
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got this too start streaming our church services using an HDMI camera we already had. We have since upgraded to a PTZ camera and this capture card has worked out great with everything we've thrown at it. I will say that the audio input is not user selectable and can default to something you don't want, so we did have to go a different route for audio capture.

Disappointing Audio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had used Elgato game capture devices back in my 1080P days and was impressed with their simplicity and quality of recording output so I decided to purchase the HD60 S+ since I have moved to 4k with my XBOX ONE X and 4k HDR monitor. The setup was simple and pass thru to my monitor was fine. When I opened and used the 4K Capture Utility, the audio out from the preview screen was fine, but unfortunately the recorded audio (nothing wrong with video) was horrible -- tinny sounding with hardly understandable character dialogue. I also tried recording using OBS Studio but the result was the same. This has basically made this device unusable for me. I noticed in some user review replies that one has to do this or that or downgrade quality. My response to that is nonsense. I used default values with the provided usb cable and HDMI 2.0 cables. Given that, the recording should be acceptable but it isn't. For that reason I am deeply disappointed in this Elgato device and cannot recommend it to others. If there ever is a firmware update that fixes this then I will provide a comment to the review, since I cannot revise the original.
