Makes it easy for Zoom calls and Microsoft Teams. I use this with my camera's HDMI output. Well worth it.

My only complaint is that my tv no longer recognizes whatever game system I’m using and doesn’t automatically switch when powered up while connected to the capture card. 1st work problems lol

You will need to watch some tutorials to get all the potential out of it. But I totally love it!

The signal would cut out and I'd have to unplug and replug it every time I opened a game from my dashboard (as that ran at 720p, and opening a game would change the resolution to 960p). But, other than that, I was having sound issues out of a upscaler (which just output at a locked 1080p), so I used the analog sound input. I found out that the issue with the Elgato losing signal wasn't even resolution, it was refresh rate. One of the operating refresh rates was 59.94 Hz, and the other was 60.00 Hz. This issue caused me to return what was an otherwise decently working card.

Where it failed for me was nearly everything else. The software compatible with it was virtually unusable. It never captured game chat either. I purchased all of the things they recommended in terms of the audio cables. Plugged 10 different things and it simply never caught game chat. Giving two stars because attached to OBS it caught game clips with ease. But what I bought it for, failed me.
