The wave software in general isn't very good. Also any headset plugged into to the headset line on this thing buzzes so loud I can't wear the headset. That is with noise isolator as well.

Too much self noise

Claims about 60db of gain, but the higher you turn up the gain the more self noise is introduced. With no mic attached the device still puts out a ton of noise.

Elgato Delivers Again

Elgato makes solid products and this is another one from them. Easy to use and set up, software is user friendly. Sounds good with my Shure microphone. Excellent choice for someone dipping their toes into the world of XLR mics. Just beware of the "mute" button on the top of the device. Easy to hit if you're moving it around, etc. Very nice to have a quick mute button tho.
