However, the instructions in the package clearly say (in multiple places) not to get it wet. This includes during use and *AFTER* use. It says not to get the blades wet, but rather to "brush dry". This is clearly different than what was advertised. In this era of Amazon ruling online purchases, I had hoped to find another vendor for buying electronics. Best Buy is not going to be it... (FTR; I marked all of the below "break down items" as poor simpy because the product is NOT what I wanted and/or needed.)

Not great for COVID-hair

My wife was convinced a YouTube video would make her a professional. It did not, and this clippers didn’t help. It was difficult to adjust and is extremely loud. My advice, leave hair cutting to the professionals.

The first cut with them was rough, got snaged up every few seconds if you moved at a normal speed. We'll see about the second cut soon. And yes I did oil them about a week before the first cut.

After 30-40 seconds my hand start hurting from the vibrations. I just turned it on and after 30 seconds turned it off and returned it. Did not get a chance to actually cut hair with it so I would not be able to say if it cuts properly or other usage details.

Using it for the first time it starts to act up toward the end of the hair cut. Everytime I turned it sideways it would stop working. Maybe it was a defect. I returned it next day.

The blades needed alignment right out of the box and still getting very poor results after following the manufacturer's directions. Wasted my money on it.
