    Very sturdily built, and operates smoothly. I haven't had it long enough to rate it upon reliability, but for the cost and parts, the New York Times rating I followed was spot-on, and came with high recommendations.

    Wahl is a reliable brand and their trimmers are almost indestructible. The only issue is that they are very effective trimmers so I have to focus hard when I use this because one false move that bald spots can result. This one comes with entire set of clips, scissors, and bib, in a nice carrying case. Very nice kit. I may never go to a hair dresser again.

    This is even better than I hoped. I have been using it to cut my boys' hair, a skill I didn't know I need until this crazy year. The directions that come with it are very helpful, and it has been safe and easy to use on my 8 and 10 year old. Has a nice weight to it, switching guard sizes is simple, and the kit comes with everything you need, even a drape for hair, scissors and a comb. Very happy with the results, and will plan to keep using indefinitely!
