Christmas gift. Wife loved it. Began watching Christmas night. Very glad I purchased.

Amazing performance by the legendary Elton John. I highly recommend this DVD.

Great songs!! Awesome performer. So entertaining!!

I'm in my mid forties and like Elton John. My husband and I try to add a concert to our DVD's each year for Christmas and last year he bought me this one. We sat down later Christmas night and watched the whole thing....2 cd's I REALLY still love it a year later and the new Blue ray looks great....we borrowed a friends and I want it in Blue ray now for our new TV. One CD is the concert in Madison Square Garden for his 60th BD which was his 60th performance and the other DVD spans his whole career playing his songs from early on in progression... different decades....different hats, hair :) etc.

elton and the band sound great--good song selection but missing Candle in the Wind. I gave it a pretty good rating but feel that the person in control of choosing camera angles and close-ups could of done allot better job--especially regarding sustained looks of elton's hands on the piano. not many of us have the chance to sit close enough in concert to appreciate his talent on the piano and, alas, i think an opportunity has been missed.

I was really disappointed the disk did not come with the "advertised" bonus disk of performances of Elton through the years. The Madison Square Garden show is outstanding though. The uncompressed audio is amazing. Since I ordered this through bestbuy.com, I did not know the bonus disc was not going to be included as advertised.
