Good kids tablet bad battery life

This Android tablet works good for my boys to use for Netflix. The main downfall with this tablet is the battery life. I'm not sure where the 6.5 hour battery life comes from that is listed but about 3 hours max on a full 100% charge is what I have been able to get out of it. Thus, it's not ideal for long road trips. Other than that the educational games, pbs shows and the ability to use other apps from play store is a good tablet option for little ones.

For the money it’s not bad. It came with a case and a screen protector which was a plus. Also you can add an SD card which is great as well. However the tablet is very glitchy. Sometimes playtime mode will “stop responding” and if I’m not around to realize my 3 year old son will get kicked out of playtime mode leaving him to use all the tablet features. I have walked in to him watching cartoon videos on YouTube with plenty of curse words in it. Also the battery life isn’t great. But again it’s not bad for the money. Is it worth the money definitely. Especially if you have a rough child like I do lol

I bought this for my son a couple months ago when he was 18 months and he's done pretty well with it. It's great, but it's a little tempermental. It charges pretty quick, but it also dies pretty quick. It doesn't last too long, like maybe 90 minutes before it needs charged again. It's a brilliant idea overall, but it needs a little work.

Best Tablet for my 23 Month Old Daughter!

This is the first Tablet I have seen that is designed for children, and actually works great too! - Super Durable, and even has an extra safe Rubber Bumper that goes around the outside right through the middle area on the back of the tablet. - Has a really nice games and video and other fun activities software loaded on by default. But, the biggest advantage so far, that I have not seen on any other kids tablet, is its 'Game Mode'. By default, when you enter the kids software section, by starting the children's app on the main page of the tablet, it has really big icons, easy to see, filled with super popular kids characters, shows, games, videos, doodles, etc... --> The BIG Deal! <-- But the best thing is when my daughter touches the android buttons to go back, or to close all open apps, etc... it catches that, blocks it, and puts them right back in the app or game they were playing when they pressed the android button to stop or go back, etc... You may not think that's a big deal, but, because of that feature, my daughter was finally able to make the connection with the buttons she needs in the games and apps, and the ones that take her away from the games and apps. She starting using Tablets (Kids Amazon Fire Tablet with Bumper Case, my iPad Mini when under supervision) at 18 months, and now, 4 months later, and still not yet 2 years old, she knows how to get into games, start them, close them, understand how to play a bunch of them, she does touches, pinches, outward pinches, etc... A Pro before official Toddler-hood!

Pros: My son is obsessed with PBS kids. He loves Daniel Tiger and Super Why so this would have been an awesome Christmas present. Cons: The screen is not the clearest. At certain angles it's hard to see. I ultimately had to return it because once you launch the videos it's hard to get back to the home screen (he's very well versed with the iPad so I can only imagine his frustration toggling between apps on this system). Get it if you don't want your toddler hogging your iPad. However, Be prepared to know how to operate it better than your kiddo!

First of all, after a year, the tablet only works when it's constantly plugged in. Second of all, after just over a year, the battery inside expanded, and the back came off. The back now won't go on, and the screen is now cracked. It did this when it was in air conditioning. Now my son is out of a tablet, and we are out the money! Customer service just told me "oh well".

This tablet worked great for about 2 months. It wouldn't power on some days, some days it wouldn't charge, then the screen went black. Spend the extra $ and get the kid's Amazon Fire which is what we ended up buying after wasting $70 on the PBS Tablet.

I've got two boys that are professionals at testing so called "Child Proof" products. This one lasted several hours. Then they cracked the screen. Luckily I'd bought the Geek Squad Protection and got another one. But that one too lasted less than a day. Bought a different product and it hasn't broken in over a year.

I purchased this item thinking it would be great for my 3yr old and since he loved watching pbs shows this would be great. He played it for the first couple months no problem, but then noticed it would just turn off out of no where, we charged it and after an hour would turn off again, but when turn it on it would say full battery but as you go into an app it would shut off again. We exchanged it and the new one my son played for like a month and it started doing the same thing. I had set it aside to bring in to get checked. A couple months went by with no one touching the thing and finally had a repair scheduled at best buy, grabbed the tablet to take into the store and noticed that the battery had expanded and popped the tablet apart and cracked the screen. It was scary! I could only imagen what wouldve happened if my son had been playing it when that happened. I got protection through best buy, thank goodness, they refunded the amount i paid for the item with store credit so we can look into a different brand tablet for my son! Don't get this for your child it is not safe!!

This tablet was good while it lasted which was only one month. My kids dropped it once with the cover on and it didn’t even crack but the touch on the screen just no longer worked. Since it’s a kids tablet I think it should have Withstand more than one drop
