I own the tall Ember Coffee thermos (gift from my son) and it works great especially if you are an avid coffee drinker such as myself. So I bought this Ember Coffee Cup for my son for Christmas and he really likes it as well. It beats having to reheat your coffee ten times.

I like the mug's function, but I subtract one star for the wall wart style power transformer. They could easily and cheaply have pushed the transformer a few inches closer to the mug and then included a standard AC cord and plug.

I tried to like it but I bought multiple from different vendors including Best Buy and had to return them. If you get a good one then it's decent at best, one of them wouldn't charge, one didn't report to the app, etc. Stupid stuff and Ember support was no help so I decided to go back to a normal mug. You also have to be extremely careful washing it due to the electronics. Too much work for the result.

I like this cup very much but if you get the bottom wet, dry it immediately. The rings on the bottom will turn green and the material will start to erode if they are not get completely dry. It's on odd requirement for something destined to hold liquid.

Love using this mug on weekend mornings when im wanting to sip my coffee slowly. Love the app integration and cusromization of the led light.

Nice concept but falls short. It’s only good for up to an hour and if you’re at your desk all morning, it just fails for that time.

I purchased this as a replacement for an original ember mug and am very satisfied. Connectivity and battery life both seem improved. This does everything I want it to do. It is used multiple times every day with no issue at all. Highly recommended.

Wife loves it. She has the travel. Mug as well but loves the cup because she can smell the flavor of the coffee.

I love this mug only thing is it doesn’t stay warm for more than 20 min. I wish it would keep things warm a little longer only because I drink a lot of tea and like to use this mug to pour from my bigger one.

Nice cup but very small. It looks bigger than expected but does the job.

Awesome profuct at a great price. I bought 3 if them fir Christmas presents and they were recieved with glee.

Poor software operation....no way to update from current firmware...Android app poorly designed and connection to cup is hit or miss...won't stay connected.

Bought as a Christmas gift for uncle, he is a car salesmen and keeps it at his desk all day. Costumers always ask where he got it

Liked the concept and gave it as a gift, however the recipient didn't have a desk to keep the warmer plugged in.

Works better than I thought and the battery life is really good.

Great idea but battery life is not quite what I was hoping. Bought for my wife for a Christmas present and she likes it but disappointed in the battery life.

The Ember mug is a great concept. And when it works. It really lives up to the idea. But unfortunately this mug suffers from tremendously incompitent software. This cup worked on day one, but every day afterwards we could never get it to work. The app wouldn't open anymore. Even reinstalling it would not solve the problem. The mug unpaired itself. It turned this great birthday present into just a normal cup. Upon looking at the Google play store reviews for the companion app (which you need for the heating to work) you'd find a 1 star rating with thousands of people having the same issues I was. Cannot reccomend until the software is fixed.

Purchased this for my mother who loves new technology. She says her coffee has never tasted better!

I bought the black Ember mug for my best friend as a graduation gift. He loves it and I am planning to buy one for myself. I don’t drink my coffee fast in the morning so this is perfect to have at my desk!
