It was a gift to my son and his wife. They were extremely happy to receive 2 mugs because they are big coffee drinkers and hot coffee is a must! I was very happy with the price!!!

I was very excited to purchase this product, especially after a friend told me about theirs. After using the mug for two days, I was not satisfied and ultimately returned it (I never return products). Here’s my take: 1. The battery lasted less than an hour, so you had to keep it on the charger for it to be useful. I tend to walk around my office and refill my coffee on the go, so the battery prohibited prolonged use. 2. It wasn’t well insulated, without the battery my coffee cooled down rapidly. Coupled with the short battery life, I could’ve just just used a ceramic mug. 3. Price. This is an expensive mug, I expected more for the price. I happily went back to my popular brand cooler/cup company mug that I’ve used for the past 5 years.

Charged the cup, put hot water in first to heat the device, then added my coffee. The battery at full charge did not last 3 hours of use and it didn’t keep my coffee hot

To help with battery life, it's best to heat the mug up before use as that will use battery!
