Plastic taste persisted even after several washes

Posted .The Ember Travel mug was made to create the best drinking experience by allowing you to choose your ideal drinking temperature. The Ember works by pouring in hot liquid, then through temperature regulation keeping it at a specific degree between 120°F and 145°F.
Battery life depends on a number of factors, such as pouring temp, adding creamer, etc. We typically expect about 2 hours with a target temperature of about 130°F, which is a popular preferred temperature. On the coaster, the mug will keep the perfect temperature all day!

When I got home I reviewed this product before I open it. The rating was not good. I love gadgets and would be the first to get one. But until the glitches are worked out with the app in good faith will not spend that kind of money for a product that is not doing what it suppose to do. Only thing that I can say at this time is purchase at your own risk.
