Just plug it in re-sync your controller to the base. It charges quick and all you have to do is put the controller on top of it no need to remove the cover or anything

We brought this after the first charger was busted. This was a much better design as you don't have to remove the strap and cover from the controller in order to charge it. Also, since it's flat, it was easy to find a small spot where it's out of the way.

It is a great little value for chargers and batteries.

I got 2 Energizer Inductive Charger when we got our Wii, about 4 years ago. I thought they were perfect, the technology, the ease of use, and all that good stuff. About 6 or 7 months ago, one of my wii motes would no longer charge, when placed on the charger the charging indicator light would flash red. I checked the user manual and there was no mention of a flashing red light. After testing I concluded the problem was the wii remote and brought a new one. Once I put the Energizer Inductive Battery Pack in the new wii mote, I still had a flashing red. I did some online reasearch starting w/ Energizer's website but had no luck. After doing a more intensive search, I found the solution for this issue. The battery pack has screws holding the rechargeable batteries in place. Remove these screws and you may find the rechargeable battery has leaked. Some recommended clean this w/ alcohol but I just scrapped the leakage off with the same screwdriver I used to open the battery pack and my new wii mote is now charging. I believe this leakage may have damaged the first wii mote because it still doesn't work, even with regular batteries.

This things is cool, cool, cool; convenient, convenient , convenient. It lasts quite long as advertise. It can charge with or without wii jacket on. You don't need to take the wii jacket off whenever you need to charge your wii remote like other guys. The battery covers came with this one are in white only. It makes the black remote look kinda awkward (if you have black remote) so you must have the wii jacket on all the time to cover it. I wish it comes with black and white or removable covers so you can change them. Overall, this is a great product to go "GREEN".

Great unit. This is my first rechargeable unit for the Wii, but way better than most of my friends chargers since I can leave the sleeve on it and just sit it on the unit to charge. It seems to charge the batteries quickly, but I am not a daily player so I do not know the long term charging vs. play time ratios. I do wish it was bigger and came with extra battery packs and would also charge batteries when not in the Wii remote.

I bought this charger after Christmas time and it has worked really well. We use our Wii daily and the batteries have held charge until recently (about 5 months). However, I started looking for replacement batteries, and they do not seem to make them. I have the charger, and it works perfectly, the batteries are just dead. I really do not want to spend money on the whole set again. ENERGIZER NEEDS TO MAKE REPLACEMENT BATTERIES FOR THIS PRODUCT.

Charger is easy to use just gotta place controller on top, battery get a pretty good charge, last long.

This has been a great product for the past year until one of the battery packs stopped charging. That being said, the batteries can be replaced contained within the battery pack. There are two screws holding the two halves of the battery pack together. One is in clear view. The other is under the sticker. Once removing both screws it's very easy to seperate the two halves. There are clips down each side that help keep the two halves together as well. Seperating the two halves reveals a basic battery compartment which contains two generic looking AAA batteries, each labeled "Ni-MH AAA600mAh 1004". In the process now of determining the best batteries to go with. Perhaps others will chime in on this.

No need to keep buying batteries - we've been using this charger for a year and a half, and it still works great! Definitely saved us money.

I love this Wii charger. The green and red light function lets you know if it needs to be charged longer or if it is fully charged already.

I have own this for about 6 months. I like the idea that I don't have to take the batteries out of the control each time I charge the batteries. It is easy to tell when it is charging and is done charging with the red and green lights. Once I got the batteries to charge fully they always show up as already being a bar low on the charge as soon as you turn on your controller. Batteries will last for a couple hours without being charged again. If you only have a couple controllers you and plan to play a long time make sure you have extra batteries ready, because you have to charge the batteries in the controllers. You can't remove your chargeable batteries and put in regular batteries and charge your rechargeable batteries. I also have not been able to find extra batteries without buying the product again. If you have children around or animals the remotes may get knock off easily and not charge if not on the specific spot. Put up higher or inside entertainment center.

We were using rechargeable batteries in our Wii remotes, but this meant we had to have at least one pair ready when an existing pair wore out. This system allows us to keep the remotes charged without having to change out batteries. It even has separate lights for each remote to let you know the current charge levels.

Works very well and keeps my wii ready to go - no longer need to worry if battery is about to lose charge. Will take a while to recoop cost but any active wii player will get value from this in time

I had a different charger and the pin contacts bend whn you set your controller into the charger. It could not charge any more. The new unit is a pleasure and works so great. Just place the controoler on the charger and the LED turns green whn the batteries are charged.

This works a lot better than the Nyko induction charger I have. The batteries last longer when being used. They Nyko batteries also go dead quickly when not being used. The Energizer batteries hold a charge better.

I was looking at the charging docks for the controllers and thought they were spendy. I found this one and thought it was a lot better because you didnt have to take off the battery. You just sit it on there and it turns green when done! Love it! Glad we bought it!!!

Takes a little while for a full charge but not an issue. Light changes from red to green. We use the Wii a lot. Batteries were always dead. Now the controllers are working great. My Dad had it. Saw how good it worked and bought one for myself.
