this charger is very easy to use for wii remotes. the first one i bought wouldn't charge on one side. best buy let me exchange for another which works great! it would be nice if it charged through the grip but still very easy to use

Great addition for Wii, with rechargeable batteries and charger. Nice to have if it's on sale.

I purchased this product to charge my Wii Controllers while I wasn't using them. The problem came when I connected the charger to the WiiU directly. If you do this, they will not charge when the Wii is shut off. You must charge directly through a separate power supply.

This charger is SO easy to use. I used to have a charging base that the remotes stood up in to charge & shortly after purchasing it, it became very difficult to get the remotes in the "correct charging position," and I often found that even after being in the base overnight, the remotes would not fully charge because they would settle and lose the connection. With this charger, you just lay the remotes down on the charging mat & they magnetically connect in the correct position to charge. It makes things so much easier. Now even my three year old can mange to put away her own remote when we are done playing the Wii without getting frustrated that she can't get the charging light to turn on. I bought two of these charging stations & am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this for my daughters Wii controllers and they would always ask for batteries. This thing saved me a lot of money since I no longer need batteries my kids just put their controllers on the charging pad every night. No more batteries should have bought one sooner.

The original unit died out so needed to replace it and this was the best choice.

I was worried that this product wouldn't work. It just looked too simple. I love how low profile it is, and it has worked great since day one. My last remote charger wore out and this design is far superior to the last one I had. I'm very happy with the purchase.

The only thing is the wii u needs to stay on for the remotes to charge.
