Ok, I got sick and tired of having to use up 2 of my 4 usb ports on my 80Gig PS3, as well as I got tired of the cords. They constantly kept getting in the way of other things. As well as my 2 cats thought that when the cords hung down that they would be great toys. As well as I have a 2 year old son, and any chance to grab anything in his reach he would. I purchased this on a more or less whim. It looked good in the packaging. When I got it home and placed it on my cabinet, it looked great sitting near my PS3. Unlike the comments that were said about the LED's going out, I have yet to have that problem. The lights change from Red (charging) to Green (charged.) They do take a bit to get used to for plugging in the controllers, especially since I have the color change controller covers I have on my 2 controllers, but even with them on the controllers still slip in nice and easy and snug. The base has 2 extra ports on it to allow you to plug in 2 wires to charge up 2 extra controllers. The base sits firmly on the cabinet, does not tip over unless it is given force. It looks stylish, and functions well. Even if you DO get the LED's going out problem, leaving the controllers plugged in for at least 30 minutes will give you quite a while longer of play if needed. The price is a little high for a charging station, but then again it is worth it, at least it was for me.

Sounds strange that this is my third one. Bought first and thought an electrical storm knocked out top charger. Bought second one and realized after a few months that top charger was not working. Figured it died, it was 3 months had no receipt. So went to best buy to buy something else, grandson was in town.. this was only one in stock and needed now so bought third one. It too right out of box did not work on top, so that one I took back after 4 days. Have given up on this altogether.

I have to wrap some string around it to make it really tight for the device to charge.

I was dissatisfied that it didn't work after I had driven a nice distance to retrieve it but I got my money refunded to me so I was satisfied..

This item did not charge the controllers at all. Only the original cable will charge the controller. Too much of a hassle to return.

Product did not do what it was designed to do. This was a double charger. It would not charge the controllers.

This is a great addition to your PS3. When you are done playing for the day, put the remote on the charger and you are ready to go the next day. The light is red when charging and green when charge is complete. You can charge up to 4 remotes at one time. The charger stand is nice to look at and doesn't take up a lot of room. I am glad that we made the investment into this charger.

These will do a nice job of maintaining the charge on your PS3 controllers. You must use a little patience when plugging the controller in, but after one or two tries you'll be able to plug it in while in a darkened room. And be careful with your kids if they remove them by pulling them off by yanking it to the side. All that said, I'm a happy camper. I've owned three and would buy this again.

Works great. Built mostly of plastic, but still strong enough to not really concern me. I like the bright light on the charger that clearly shows when the controllers are fully charged by turning from red to green. It does charge 4 controllers but only if you have 2 additional USB cables, I'd like a charger that charged 4 controllers all the same way and required no additional cables. I'd would say though that I think it is slightly overpriced, I'd say $20 would be a better deal. Overall I am happy with it and it is probably the best charger for it's purpose that is available in my opinion.

I really like this charger! It looks great and not out of place with everything else! It does technically charge up to four controllers simultaneously, and it can charge Sony's Bluetooth headset...BUT the headset charger takes up one of the spaces to charge a controller, and charging using more than the two obvious places is thru a simple USB connection. Since it charges via a regular electric outlet, it frees up USB slots on the PS3 console, too. I have had the recharger for only about a month, so I'm not sure about durability.

I bought this on reccomendation from a friend on the PS3 network. I was getting tired of the controllers and headset going dead, because when my PS3 was on...well...I was using the controllers and headset! Since having this, I no longer have to worry about having charged accessories, or where my controller and headset are. It is very nice in appearance and easy to use. I love it! I would have changed: The ability to turn off the LED lights that turn from red to green when controllers are charged. Those LEDs can light up the room at night. Unfortunately you cannot turn those lights off.

I have had mine for a couple months and I love this thing. I used to have plug in using my USB on my PS3 or my Computer but this actualy plugs into the wall and doesnt waste your usb cable or your ps3 power supply. I certainly recomend this for gamers, I dont know what I would do without it. When one of my controllers goes dead I place it on the rack and grab the othe rone. The green light means your controller is charged and the red means is charging. allows me to be able to charge my keyboard and blue tooth headset from my usb ports on the system. THIS THING LOOKS GREAT NEXT TO THE PS3 TOO. less of a mess. 5 STARS!!!!

I should have purchased this item a long time ago. Charging my ps3 controller when its about to die is a huge b*tch especially when my other controller was about to die as well. A must have and it doesn't take long to fully charge.

Take your messy USB cable and throw it away. Can't count how many times people walk infront of the TV, while my controller is plugged in, and trip on the USB cable. I have three PS3 controllers, and now always have a fully charged controller at my dispose. The docking station has great aesthetics, with simple red/green lights to tell you if your controller needs charging or finished charging.

Bought this for my ps3 controllers and it's great. It's so much easier to charge them and you can just plug it into a wall outlet rather than charging them on the console
