Charges quickly IF you plug in the controller(s) correctly-- make sure they are blinking red. If they are steady red, it's not charging.

I have a PS3 160 only two USB ports. Didn't like the looks of USB chord always plugged into the unit when I wasn't using it. This charger is great because it can be placed anywhere there is an electrical outlet. LED shows when it is charged red/green. Well worth the price. My only issue is still after a week I can't just slide the control into the charger by touch I have to pick it up and look to connect it. I'm sure there is a perfect angle I am missing and it will just hit me one day.

First if you look at this unit it doesnt look special but it is awesome. In the pic, the clear plastic pieces that go over the controller near the PS button, completely light up red when charging, green when done. Dont have to leave your PS3 on.... and best of all it has 2 USB ports to charge headsets off of. I have owned one for probably over 3 years now, this thing was a good investment. A little flimsy plugging in the controller, no big deal though...just turn your controller off before you plug it in.... naturally

Seriously, every time I would go to charge my controllers, I would dawn a look of a sad panda. Plugging them in and charging meant unplugging my keyboard and headset every time. This makes life so much easier. Not only does it free up the USB ports, but it looks nice too. Red light = charging. Green light = charged and ready to play! I had one a long time ago and my dog ate it. Not sure why it took so long to get another one (lazy). I bought my dogs treats.

Considering I was using the supplied cord to charge one controller at a time this is a BIG improvement! The green and red lights make always grabbing the charged controller a breeze. My only suggestion would be to make the clear plastic guide/holder bigger as it's a little awkward plugging the controller into the charger. If you don't have a charger get this one! Please note that it charges via an AC cord not USB so it can be plugged in anywhere.

I have bought other chargers for the PS3 controllers before and they would break after a week of normal handling. This charging dock is well worth the money. I paid $29.99 and at the time I was thinking well there goes another $30 down the drain, well i was sadly mistaken. I was so impressed with how easy it was to set up (ok it is plug and play) and it charged two dead controllers and a dead bluetooth at the same time in less than 30 minutes, i had to tell all my friends and co-workers about it. I was also so impressed I had to write a review on it. I even went back and bought another one for the PS3 and one for the WII. This charging station is well built, looks good enough to put on the shelf out in the open and has color coded lights to know when it is charged (green) and when it is charging (red).

This is a light wight small space saver charging device. I love the color scheme on this (red when charging, green when fully charged) I would definitely recommend this product. It looks cool, charges quick and saves the hassle of having to plug in to your USB and waste USB space..

This is a great charger for your PS3 controllers. It looks great and is very easy to use. The LED's are very stylish and accent the PS3 well. Worth every dollar. Before I bought it I thought it looked like it was easy to break or would be fragile but it is sturdy and strong.

I have had this charger for a few weeks. Read multiple reviews before buying and this seemed to be one of the better multiple controller chargers out there. I have to say I'm impressed. Very sleek looking with both chargers attached. Plus the additional two USB ports allows charging a total of 4 controllers or something else (I use it to charge my cell phone). It is also really nice to have the charger closer to the couch and not have to have the console on just to charge the controllers. You do need two hands most of the time to dock a controller for charging, and being that the base is a little light it can move around on you while plugging in the remote. Some have complained about the green light staying on all the time... It's really not that noticeable depending where you put the charger. All in all I like the charger and if it ever breaks I will buy another one.

Let me start by saying this is a good product. It charges remotes fast, has red/green light to show charge status, and takes up little space on in your gaming area. There is one major flaw though - it can be very difficult to line up the Mini-USB port on the top of the remote with the port on the charging dock. I have used this product for roughly 6 months, I can only remember one or two times I could easily slide this in, and make a solid connection the first try. Other times would require me to shift and slide the remote until it got the perfect angle and position before docking. Because of this flaw I am going to try Sony's charging dock that seems easier to drop in and charge like I was used to with my Xbox 360 chargers. I wouldn't recommend against this product, although I would say consider other products first.

The charger works very well. It was a little practice to use quickly and easily. Once I got the hang of it, it has been very good. The lites indicating if the controller is charged or is charging helps visually know when they are ready.

I am enjoying this base because I can sit it anywhere and out of the reach of my 4 year old so they get full charge.Before I had this he was always pulling them off charger connected to ps3.lol. But that's kids so I adapted and this base was a great idea.

The design for it is sleek and simply looks good next to PS3, it's convenient to have to keep controllers in one place (organized) but only problem is light remains on and it's difficult to connect controllers so both hands are needed.

This is a good charging base at a good price, when I was trying to find a place to put the controlers and charge them I ended up finding this charging station at Best Buy. This charger looks nice and has a red/green indicator light to tell you when your controls are ready for use but even though the lights are nice I found that they don't shut off when its done charging unless you take the controls off the charger, its kinda hard to sleep when lights are on in my case.

This energizer charger works flawlessly. Charges two controllers plus my PS3 Microphone. Everything charges really quick, even after being fully dead. The only downer is the controllers are more of a hassle to put on the charger then the Xbox 360 Charging Dock. Also they include a fancy little USB microphone piece with the charger but piece is for the older Bluetooth microphones and not the 2.0 microphone. Besides the few little things worth the thirty bucks.

easy to attach controllers and charge without having to keep the console on. very convenient and never worry about low batteries anymore!

A friend of mine has this unit so I decided since he liked it so much to get one for myself. It installs and charges the controllers great. The only real complaint I have is one that seems to show up a lot and that is the connectors are sometimes difficult when you connect your controller. The only other complaint I have is that it stays charging as long as the controller is connected it doesn't turn itself off when the controller is fully charged like the official PS3 side by side charger. I think I am going to replace this one with the official PS3 charger. Not saying that this is a bad product just saying it isn't a good fit for me.

I use my controllers probably every other day for a couple of hours, sometimes extended play. I've never had a problem over the last year having them fully charged. I would say it isn't the easiest to mount, but that's partially attributed to the mini-usb connector designed by PlayStation. I suppose for mounting it on there, it isn't terribly difficult either, it just takes two hands. The best part about this charging station is that it can be plugged into any outlet, not just the playstation. That was a big plus for me, so that I can plug them in by the couch.

THE GOOD NEWS: What makes this one better than all the other docks out there is the two extra usb ports on the side. If your like me then you might have other brand controllers well they probably won't fit to slide in. My madkats modern warfare controller doesn't. but with the extra usb I'm guaranted any controller or ps3 accesory will. thats what the other docks can't do. The new version I got comes with a docking port for your ps3 bluetooth headset. That you can remove and still have the two extra ports. Now for the BAD NEWS: yes its not great quality but haven't seen any dock out there to be. And this one like the other ones I heard you have to look to slide it in to charge. Could be cheaper in price like the one I was going to get. that one was a quad charger but only could charge controllers that would fit in the slide. Another thing is the cord isn't very long so, you'll have to keep it close to where you plug it in. Other then that its not so bad news. The reason I gave it an excellent even though it got a 4&3 was because it is the best out there and by far the most versatile out right now.

The charger its self is an amazing piece of work, you can leave the controllers on the charge and it will not over charge, although it is also good with Multiple Blue-tooth Devices added on in the side slots. I personally charge my two controllers as well as my Blue-tooth and it will never overcharge or damage the battery. As a gamer. I find it very handy. Also it is a great companion to the Nyko stand. The only downside to this product is that the "USB" port for the charging of the Controllers is very delicate and can and WILL break if too much force is applied, I have not broken mine, but it is a safety precaution. Other than that factor, it is worth the price.
