This gadget is very functional and aesthetically pleasing. I love the way the colors (red and green) look when the controllers are charging. This charging dock serves as an organizer for the controllers so it's a winner for me because I like to keep my media gadgets organized. The extra USB ports comes in handy if you want to charge additional peripherals.

Execellent charging system to use for charging your controllers

The Energizer - Power & Play Charging System For Playstation 3 product description states that in can charge 4 controllers at once. This is not true. The device does not have any additional USB ports. You can only charge 2 controllers at a time by directly connecting them to the stand.

I love charging stations such as these so I don't have to plug in any cords or new batteries. They plug in easily and the light is easily seen to know the status of the charge. I do plan on buying more controllers and I will definitely get another one of these.

Out of the box and into the outlet and that was it...easy easy setup and its working too !

Bought one for Xmas for kids. Had to take it back because nothing worked. No lights, no charge. Went back and got another one at bestbuy, got home. Same problem. This sucks. Now have to drive back and try again. This time I'm taking a controller with me to see if it works at store.

Love this product. I would suggest it to anyone who wants their ps3 controllers charged without having to have your ps3 on. And the lights which tell you if they are fully charged are great as well.

I might have gotten the only unit that has a problem. I love the way this charger looks. It went great with our decor in the house so i was able to have it sitting out on the shelf. plugged the unit in, and it worked great, it charged my controllers for an hour and they were at full strength. next time came around to charge them...and it wont charge them anymore. The red light comes on for exactly 4 seconds, then the green: good to go light comes on. even though the controller is still completely dead. unit will continue to do this, even after i charge the controller using the PS3 for a bit. So needless to say, i am returning the item in the morning.

So i wanted to buy a extra charge cord, man was i suprized when i relized that the ps3 sony cord was more pricey then this. I got home and relized, if i place it at the table next to the couch i could charge and play since there 2 usb spots also, Great buy.

This is perfect for us - it uses a regular plug, and keeps the controllers ready to go so we don't have to hook up to the USB cord and sit close to the TV. The only downside - I can't make my son remember to always put them back on charger!

Watch out! The older charging stations have the Bluetooth mic charging station and the extra USB ports ... the new ones don't have any USB ports and just charges 2 controllers.

I thought the previous Energizer charging station was great..it had a usb port on the side for charging a headset or extra controllers...PDP (the manufacturer) has since removed this yet still promotes it on the best buy website...lame. Best Buy needs to update their website description and Energizer need to dump PDP as their manufacturer.
