Okay, but not ideal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This charger works for charging cells two at a time or four, but not for just one and not for just three. Because I use "AAA" cells three to a device, this charger is not just right, so I have to rig onto it a dummy ballast on the third cell, charge all three, and assume that the time needed for the pair is right for the one. Still, it was the only charger for NimH cells that I could find at any store. Also, there is no specification on how it controls charge current, so I cannot know if my setup is right for the cells. Using this charger is like walking a block blindfolded, but it is the only charger that I could find. My old charger could charge one, two, three, or four cells, and I wish it still worked. Below is a required statement as to whether I'd recommend it to a friend, and it does not allow me to say, "Maybe; it depends." I chose one of the answers blindfolded.
