I only buy to lithium ion AA batteries or any batteries that are made with lithium ion. I mainly use this battery for my camera flash it recycles the charge really fast when it comes to the strobe. This is not a rechargeable battery it's a one time

If you need a device to work when you need it to I would suggest going lithium and not chance having the device not work due to using normal batteries.
