The laptop is light weight, full HD, 17+". The response is quick and the sound is good. It has one hard drive & uses the Intel Optane to buffer the hard drive & increase performance. It is my understanding, but I have NOT tried it, that Optane can be turned off and replaced with an NVME drive. If so, this would be fantastic performance & 2 drives. However, I'll wait until the warranty is expired before checking this further.

Nice laptop with excellent screen, great response for browsing or for office work. Would buy again. This is my second in The HP Envy Series

I really like this computer which was easy to set up and use. It is a little heavy for a laptop, but I am not moving it around a lot.

Looking for a large screen? This is the one for you. Not much to say other than that. Great specs at the time of release.

I enjoy using the touch screen and being able to have several pages opened up at the same time.

The computer screen is large and easy to read. The keys are big enough to make typing easy. It’s fast processing things like spreadsheets.

GeForce picked up our normal go to places quickly. Nice size to replace our old desktop computer. Nice speak look, silver very pretty.

Even though I have not used the computer very often I am very happy with the operation. It’s fast and well designed and easy to operate

This laptop exceeds my expectations . Picture is very clear, the big screen is amazing and it’s exactly what I needed and then some.

Surprised it's not that fast, actually seems slow on some apps. Might need to get it dialed in by the Geek squad. But, overall much nicer than what I had. Great for watching movies with the 17 inch screen and light weight.

This laptop is one of the few that still has a built-in cd/dvd drive. That is one of the features that we wanted. Great laptop and very fast.

I wanted a powerful laptop to replace my older desktop computer. This one certainly does the job.

I bought this laptop because my health is failing so I'm spending more time unable to get out of bed. When I tried using my old laptop to play games I'd been playing on my main computer, it was just not up to the task anymore. This computer has enough power to run anything I'd want to run on a laptop and do it very well. The CPU speed is good, the storage is pretty standard (1TB mechanical HD), and the graphics are fine. They may not play your favorite shooters at Ultra Graphics, but it's quite suitable for most users.

I recently purchased a hp envy and am very happy with it. I have bought hp laptops for the last 20 years and love the screen size.

A great purchase, for the price it's a great computer, touch screen, unlocked with finger print, big screen and a lot of space!
