Perfect fit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this laptop to accommodate my Virtual DJ gigs, downloaded every song , videos to the tune of over 15k of them flawlessly, am now so organized the gigs are a breeze, the touchscreen feature is really nice, no fumbling around anymore. Great laptop, multi functionable, ease of use even for me, would certainly buy another.

Excellent HP Envy Laptop 17 In

I got a 10% discount because of my birthday. I saved $100,00. I also got a free Virus protection for my new laptop as long as I keep it and $20.00 off Microsoft Office ( one time purchase for 1 laptop @ $149.00. The Sales person explained all my questions well.

Disappointed

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the previous version of the Envy and never had a problem in over 3.5 years. With this one, it started almost immediately and HP support did not respond. The wide screen cam is great but you can't adjust anything other than luminosity. The microphone is so weak, at full power, it doesn't move the bar in the levels screens. The video buttons, fast forward (backward) and pause work sometimes. When they do work, you have to press the pause button for 30 seconds for it to actually pause. Then it works (until the next time). I have my own sound card so maybe there are even more bad news there but I don't know. And Google screen blacks out. I mean, the screen turns totally black. The controls still work but you can't see anything. I researched it and it's an issue from 2017 so not this machine and I notified HP and they didn't even reply. Other than that, it's a fast machine, faster than my previous one but still a bit annoying for the reasons I mentioned.

Knowing what we wanted, we found it at Best Buy in Pensacola. The HP Envy (17" screen) is by far the best laptop we have ever owned! We love the everything about this laptop and would recommend it to anyone looking to invest in an awesome new system!!
