Not budget friendly. But a lot of power on the unit. Takes dual monitors with the 2 hdmi ports

Bought new computer a month ago. First one didn't have functioning HDMI ports so no monitors could work. Replaced it with a new one that seemed to work ok, but Then a windows 10 update caused my computer to take 10 mins to load. Other than that, it seems pretty good. Comes with wireless mouse and keyboard and DVD player. Might consider a laptop or surface or even an Apple for next computer.

Was excited to get this home and start it up. I have a Win 10 laptop so familiar with the OS. Started up applied windows updates. Loaded my subscription of norton and office 365. Checked for hp updates and applied. After that the desktop would not exit out of sleep mode. After rebooting I would get the login screen but after entering my password I would get a black screen with a cursor. Would have to reboot several times before I could log in and get the desktop. I looked up various solutions on the laptop but could not get past these issues. Called HP and they washed their hands telling me to take it back which I did. Ended up putting a new HD on my old desktop and loading Win 10 for about a 3rd of the cost

I had a great computer that served me well for 8+ years. I replaced it with the HP Envy Desktop. I am disappointed in its performance with less than two weeks of use. Hopefully, it will get better.

So I was going from a laptop to a desktop. Ordered on-line without realizing just how big the desktop was and would not fit in the space I had for it. So I returned it. I can't give an accurate review of this machine since I never tried it.

Nothing but problems. Should have known better. Never buy HP is what I used to tell people when I did tech support 20 years ago (and will resume saying). But low price got me and I thought 'they still can't be that bad'...I was wrong. Forgot that it doesn't matter if it has good specs if the overall construction is bad. Continual problems with freeze-ups and display. I'm giving up troubleshooting. Already cost me at least 100 hours of lost productivity. Going to buy new PC or just use this for parts to build my own.

Overall a good choice for medium-use home computing.

They just don't make them like they use to..........
