I got it for a great price and it operates wonderful.

Not bad computer just issues with the wifi staying connected, I read that is a common issue with the Envy laptops.

I've had a history with AMD processors giving me issues, I should've known better than to try these new Rizen processors. First of all, with any AMD PC, I do a clean install of Windows 10. I've worked on numerous AMD PCs that always have issues because of their software. I managed to get through to the desktop & installed a few programs without issues thanks to the clean install. The laptop heated up pretty bad, I found out through research that the "CPU Fan Always On" feature is disabled in the BIOS from factory settings; I rather have a slightly louder fan than a scorched lap. After installing some software, I noticed the display was really grainy. At first I thought: "maybe it's the resolution, I'm not use to 1080p anymore"; no, it was the physical display. I couldn't have a grainy display on a PC I was going to use for mobile Photo Editing. I thought maybe it was just the one I got; no, the floor model looks the same. I honestly should have know better than to get an AMD PC. Not that the display is AMD's fault, but I've always had issues with PCs that have an AMD processor in them.

Great size, not hard not manage and super convinient.

Great for school work and keeping track of schedule

With great anticipation, I bought this unit in early October. All of the positives I expected the unit to have were there: compact size; basic black with matching hinges; a fast, quad-core processor; and terrific graphics (including a full gigabyte of video memory). Then came the unpleasant surprise: An odd screen issue, in which no matter what I displayed -- or how I displayed it -- the left half of the screen skewed beige-ish, while the right half skewed blue-ish. That's much too off-putting for a $700 computer; I've subsequently returned it.

Received this a few days ago. As always, takes forever to run though the Windows 10 updates and navigate the HP software popups. But once set up to my customizations, runs real nice and smooth. Very thin and light! Great bright glossy screen. Didn't bog down on any tasks or multiple windows (Office, browser, etc) . I like that it has a touch screen and has tablet-like capability, but plan to use as a standard laptop 95% of the time. Still just using a regular old blunt tip stylus, which seems fine, but may get a Bamboo pen as well. Battery seems decent for this form factor. Main negative is heat. I had some apps running and it warms up a bit more than I'd think it should. Initial 128gb storage also gets eaten up by about 1/2 just with the stock apps and updates. But there is a MicroSD slot if needed for quick expansion. Overall, for a Windows 10 machine, I like it! ​

I'm stuck with this device that cant stay connected to the internet. Goes completely undiscovered from all networks. Really upsetting because if that was not the problem it would of been an amazing purchase.
