The laptop in itself was really good, light weight and I would want to give it a 5 star but may be the problem was with the model I took, the wifi connection kept dropping. There was some issue with the network adapter, tried reinstalling it but nothing worked. The problem appeared both at my office and at home.

Overall this is one great laptop, and an excellent alternative to the MacBook Air or perfect computer for a previous Mac user. My rating is 4.5/5.

Warning on this line - I have had mine for 45 days with moderate use.    It overheated and had to take it back to best buy, now it will be 10 days until I get this sub par machine back.  Check the reviews online the thermo specks of this computer are really bad, not well designed. Also, it does not fully compliant with many windows ink pens so you have to use the low featured HP pen. Also, make sure you like the keyboard, having a line of keys to the right of where most keyboards end is annoying.  

When I first got the laptop, it worked fine. Less than 3 mos after purchase (when it's too late to return it), however, the WIFI adapter no longer works and despite all the updates, reconfiguring, etc. the WIFI goes in and out every few minutes. Best Buy's Accidental Insurance does not cover this malfunction, so be sure to get additional insurance if they offer it to cover this problem.

This computer is garbage. The most scandalous site I use is Netflix. OS crapped out after two months. One year in and the “WiFi adapter” dies every five minutes. Buy anything else, not this trash.

Nice, light, and easy to use laptop. Not good battery life. Bought it on a good deal, but motherboard failed after 18 months. Techs said it’s due to residual heat when sleep mode used extensively. Expensive to fix

Since I bought this laptop a few months ago it crash and freeze on daily basis. WHY SHOULD I HAVE THIS PROBLEM WHEN I SPENT MY HARD WORKING MONEY. COLLEGE TUITION IS TOO EXPENSIVE!!! I can't afford to be robbed twice! Purchased from BESTBUY. I NEED MY MONEY BACK!!!

This was a piece of junk right out of the box. It had keyboard issues and seemed possed. I tried many times to get it fixed but it was always over the phone with HP and nothing was ever fixed the rhe warranty expired. I'm done with HP.

I have only had this for a few months and I am calling it a complete lemon. It never works. I have to constantly restart it. It flashes so I can’t even put my password in, among other issues .

This laptop only lasted a year. I recommend not wasting your money on this laptop.

Joint of keyboard and of screen broke in 1 year. I barley use my laptop. if you looking for a laptop last for years not buy this one.
