    As a stand alone computer it's very good. However as an addition to a LAN there were problems with the high resolution. Sharing files like Quicken encountered formatting problems. The file looks different when opening it with a high resolution computer and a non high resolution computer. Something I never considered before the purchase.

    For me buying a new laptop is never fun, my needs aren't high tech and the technology upgrades far exceeds my knowledge. The Best Buy associate helping me kept that in mind while showing me different options and made their recommendations. The touch screen functionality option on a laptop was new to me but as I've used it over time I'm glad I have it. This laptop has met and surpassed all I needed.

    After initial setup and connection of the Wacom Bamboo stylus the cursor disappeared. Evidently the touchpad/mouse removed itself from the hard drive. HP support was readily available and walked us through the steps to fix it. Otherwise it's been great.

    The mouse pad is too sensitive. I can probably change the settings, but I couldn't figure out how under settings, then looking at mouse options. Maybe I will Google it later. I also wish the screen didn't have so much give on it when I have it in laptop mode and I touch the touchscreen. I wobbles too much.

    The laptop works as I expected it to. I am disappointed with Microsoft though. I won't list the reasons here. There are many of features I like though. To post this review i have to choose yes or no on recommending this product. I would have chosen maybe if was an option. So saying no for that reason only.
