Bought this today. So here's my initial thoughts. CPU - Very fast. The R5 mobile has slightly better performance as an i7-6700HQ based on benchmarks yet feels much speedier. Display and build are great. Graphics - AMD tried passing it off as the same as the Nvidia Mobile MX150 discrete GPU. The R5's Vega 8 GPU does not match the MX150. Slightly slower. Perhaps the R7 mobile will match or surpass the MX150 by NVIDIA since the GPU on the R7 chip is more powerful. However it is at least twice as fast as the Intel integrated gpu (620). Cost - At $700 I would say it's properly priced. It was on sale for $600 earlier but that deal is gone. If you can get it at $600 it's a steal. Model - this $700 model comes with a mechanical hard drive. While it's fast enough it will drive you insane if you're accustomed to NVME drives (like me). Luckily the thing is completely upgradable with 2 memory slots and NVME/SSD connectors. Verdict: AMD is back in the mid tier to high end laptop game. These new chips are not the A and FX series you find in the sub $300 laptops that struggle to run 2 apps. But you'll get a discounted product as compared to Intel because they have to rebuild their reputation. And a product that outperforms Intel in the graphics department without breaking the bank. The i7 MX150 GPU laptops are not that cheap. 4 Stars because the keyboard seems off somehow. I've yet to figure out what it is but Ill update the review then. This is just my initial thoughts.

It’s not fast, but I only use it for basic work functions. I use a split screen and often time part of the screen will be scrambled. Hasn’t caused any problems, just annoying.

This laptop is a great addition. Great graphics, upgraded sound and a ton of memory.

This was a great deal, got it on sale and use it for school. But the upgraded sound is amazing!

We took this computer back because it was too slow. When with an Intel 7i - my bad, should have know better, you get what you pay for and this was way to cheap for what we needed.

Love it, but am not a fan of the facial recognition, takes too long and sometimes does not work

Easily transportable and operational. Capable of preforming all that one would need a pc to do

good overall performance. good to have it to be able to fold into one for more convenience.

Bought this before the newer ones came out and wish I would’ve waited

This is an excellent 2 in one laptop and the new AMD Ryzen 5 2500u processor is awesome

Honestly for the price it has a very good build quality, sound, and very vibrant screen

Powerful, sleek, and very solidly built. Installed a Samsung ssd in it and it flys!

I love my laptop and that it has Netflix of course you need to get a Netflix account

So far so good for a freshmen in college. It does everything it needs him to do.

Was able to fix screen flicker by opening back panel and fiddling with cable, but I suppose the issue will return eventually. Seems to be poorly routed

Much needed for online classes to finish courses and continue for next semester
