I mainly just use it to work from home and browse the internet, but I love my Excel. Love that the keyboard lights up and has a number pad. Easy to set up, has a fingerprint sensor to log in, light and easy to travel with. Definitely recommend.

Good laptop for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It runs kinda loud and the mouse click is really loud but is good computer for what I needed. Upset that I have to take it into tech support already to have program installed that was missing when I purchased. But seems like it will last and has much better sound than my last laptop. love the 2 in 1 option because I can turn it into a tablet for reading.

Excellent Lap Top for anyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new HP Lap top is great for everyone. Great speed and huge amount of memory. The speakers that comes with the equipment is excellent, no need to purchase additional speakers. The touch screen ability is a great feature. The lab top can also flip to be used like a I pad.

Very pleased
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop replaced a 10+ year old Toshiba. It's lighter, smaller, much faster and has as a much longer lasting battery. A big factor in choosing this particular computer was the separate number pad. The capabilities far exceed anything I'm ever likely to ask of it.

Great laptop performance and value.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced an eight year old similar item. Dramatic changes and improvements. A wide variety of features included. This is my first convertible and find the feature very handy depending on task. Only desire would be a longer battery life but charge cord is extra long.

Not impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though SSD is the wave of the future, I’m not overly impressed with the overall performance. Add in that HP doesn’t give you help (without paying for it) getting their own printers to work with an HP laptop, and it’s even more disappointing. It sucks that Toshiba pulled out of the US market, because my Satellite was an awesome machine. Ran almost 24 hours a day for 6 years. After just 16 days, my HP’s fan started getting really loud (screeching, not just regular fan noise) when a heavy CPU load was going. 2 days after the 14 day return policy. This will be the last HP computer I ever buy. It’s a glorified tablet. But as I said, it’s apparently the wave of the future.

Dual duty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both a touchscreen tablet and a full size keyboard laptop, this filled my needs well. Fold flat feature good for watching videos. The keyboard touch is light, touchpad responsive. Characters on the screen are crisp for easy text reading. Audio is good. Haven't used camera yet. Battery life 6+ hrs. The unit is almost as light as power converter.

Love HP
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Hewlet Packard before and they last forever. They are awesome computers. and this HP Envy is so cool, it's touch screen and can be a tablet also. I love it, I've still got so many things to try on this computer, I can't wait to use it to it's full potential.

Love this laptop.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's everything I need, sleek, lightweight, fast, and the speakers are fantastic. Even though the screen doesn't detach, it's a 2 in 1 with so much flexibility. I can pair it with my tv, phone, and other electronic devices. I'm quite satisfied with this purchase.

Not worth it in the long run
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this laptop entering a new graduate program. I was encouraged by many others to get a Mac but I did not want to spend the money. Black Friday came around, this laptop seemed to have decent enough reviews and was on sale so I got it... big mistake. Pros: touch screen, sleek design, nice keyboard Cons: extremely heavy, poor battery life, microphone on EXTREMELYYYYY LOUD FAN. It was so loud it was almost embarrassing to use it in front of others. Thank God I had a protection plan, returneddd it! and I have gotten a Mac (on sale) and its worth the extra money for the dependability esp being on my laptop everyday and doing meetings on zoom due to covid-19. Final Thoughts: Not worth it

Beautiful Laptop, Great Size
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP Envy I purchased from Best Buy has been amazing! I love the size, the quality, the ease of setup, touch screen capabilities and the numeric key pad on the keyboard! I also thought the price was reasonable for the quality of the machine. Thanks HP

Mid range laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good laptop with plenty of features. Battery life while running minimal applications is not even close to the up to of the test HP. Didn't expect it to be, but better than it is. Still getting used to using the tablet function.

Great computer for nursing school
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had not gotten a new computer for several years as I was stuck on windows 8. I had tried windows 10 when it first rolled out free and did not like it. Now I don't know what I did without. This computer is fast and is perfect for nursing school.

Great laptop for Nursing School
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop about 2 years ago, and it's still running good. Battery life is still good after 2 years and Windows 11 is running good on it as well. Tons of storage for all my school work, powerpoints, papers, and videos. Definitely a great buy if you need all the internal storage is has. It fell out of my open bookbag once about a year after buying it. It on the contcrete floor and only got a dent on the corner it fell from. A little hit of careful wacking later to fix the dent and it's all good. No screen damage or any other internal problems. Definitely a tropper of a laptop to keep up with my late nights of studying. Highly recommend!

HP Envy can't be beat
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have probably purchased over a dozen of these laptops for my company, ranging from the 15" to the 17". I prefer the 15" because of the mobility. Light weight, fits into any backpack. Fairly fast out of the box. Easy installation of software.

Great laptop for college students!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this laptop for college and I don't think anything could compare! The 2-in-1 feature makes it easy to write your own notes on presentation slides. The speakers are amazing. Also, the touchscreen is such a nice add-on. I love this computer.

Great laptop at reasonable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this laptop for home office use. It has a great balance of performance and value, I have not used the touchscreen nor the tablet features. Also, I find the backlit keyboard insufficiently bright and no ability to adjust it. I would still recommend it
