Light weight, easy to use. Seems fast enough for working or browsing

Not just me everyone who gets the chance to use this laptop has told me I got the best laptop. I have been using it for different apps and class purposes (programming, Adobe....). I don’t remember the time I had struggled with it. It’s been almost two years and I’m grateful I bought it. Would definitely recommend you have it.

I am pleased with this laptop (for the price I should be) I don't use it for games or movies, only browsing paying bills etc. I find that the battery lasts less than five hours with low light and all power saving options. The major issue with the laptop but with mostly Best buy is they advertised it as a four cell but it is a three cell battery only.

This is top class laptop from HP. I would say get some kind of protection while purchasing this product as even with minor fall or impact screen may get broken. Laptop is excellent in performance, operation, features and speed. I felt that silver keyboard is hard to read at times during typing.

I purchased this laptop for my 75 year old mother-in-law. She had an old tower home computer that was very outdated and in much need for an upgrade. We bought her a Samsung Tab A last Christmas and she has become very comfortable with it, so we thought she would be comfortable with a laptop. This HP ENVY laptop has been very easy for her to understand, not over sensitive to touch (touchscreen and touch-pad), good back light for viewing in a regularly lit room, and does everything (and more) she could every want. She surfs social media, websites, play games, and streams Netflix & Hulu on it and absolutely loves it. Her Samsung Tab A has not been used very much since she got her new toy.

Great laptop. Easy to use. Touch screen. Easy to set up

Its decent for minor games like Minecraft or League of Legends. However it does not cool very well, after a month it began to have a small coil whine. Its just too thin and does not have proper cooling. The touch screen is very cool though, it will show fingerprints. Its a good on the go laptop. But don't expect a ton of work.

This thing is rock solid and features a touch screen. I work in product development and I need to write specs as well as make design changes and this computer handles everything. I also am on the go for my night school studies and this laptop gets the job done. Great value for the price from HP.

This is by far my favorite computer in years. The touch screen and tablet mode are perfectly responsive. The computer is fast and handles tons of tasks going on at once. Screen quality and clarity are fantastic. The battery lasts all day while doing homework, surfing the internet and social media. Oh and it’s fairly light as well.

I always wait about 1 to 2 years to review a product. Longevity is key to an excellent product. For the first 9 months the computer was working as any computer product should. After about a year, the computer started to overheat every now and then. No recalls for this model were found, so I figured it was just an anomaly. That was not the case, the computer keyboard suddenly died. Figuring it was because of a recent software update, I checked the keyboard setting and found nothing. The keyboard hardware is fried. The battery did not over heat anymore after that as well. I can still use the computer with a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. It is however very frustrating at times. Sad to say, this happened after the warranty was was up. Could not repair and the cost is about the same as a new computer would be. Labor cost and parts. I did not want to spend the money on repairing or buying another computer. For 300 dollars, the product does not match the cost. But in this day of age, what products that are costly, last?

HP packs a lot of punch into this machine, it performs outstanding in all of its features. Extremely responsive and user friendly. The ability to go into tablet mode is very useful and the touch screen has been very responsive without any issues. The Intel Core 15 processor is fast and performs well, This one fits my needs very well.
