Cannot use for video calls as the microphone has issues and sounds terrible. I wouldn’t purchase again.

Basis laptop

I think you can find better options for the same price. I Returned it to the store and got a Lenovo Yoga. Very happy that I did.

Screen known to separate from cover

This morning while opening the laptop I heard a crack sound. Screen has popped away from the cover near the left hinge. So I googled laptop screen separating. First whole page of results were about HP Envy laptops with the screen separating at the lower left hinge. Coincidence? I think not. All that I have read HP is not standing behind this obvious design/manufacture flaw and charging to repair. I don't write reviews in the first few months because seriously how much have you used a product in that time span? Most are still in love with this shiny new bobble. I also don't like to give ba reviews but in this instance after googling a generic question and it returns numerous results on this specific computer, well there is a serious issue there. Just beware that this will probably happen to you too in time if you buy this laptop.

Will be at least an additional $60.00 for pen. Recommend spend money on " " a ipad / tablet for hand held conceive and invest in a 15/17" laptop. Doesn't meet my $1,200.00 expectations. I love my HP 17" Pavillion this one doesn't compare.
