Easy set up with guidance. Disappointed no cd rom.

In past 4 months have used only for browsing and today it got DPC_watchdog_voilation stop code blue screen. Worked with Microsoft and HP online support for 8 hours and they tried everything to fix it, even a clean reinstall but still can't get it working. As per Microsoft it's hardware issue. HP is not ready to replace it, they want me mail it over and it could take 9-30 days to fix. HP support is worst, they can't give a temporary replacement even. Please check HP warranty and service center availability before buying HP products

The corner of the track pad popped out after using it. I tried taking it back and the Geek Squad guy said I dropped it. No idea how he came up with that, I used it twice and it never left my desk. He came up with any reason possible to not do anything about it. I bought it as a Black Friday deal and it was a present so of course when I took it in I had it for a while and didn’t know if the issue. Terrible customer service!!

While shopping for a new laptop, I was shown an “open box” version of the laptop I wanted and I bought it for a slightly reduced cost. Unfortunately, it has been malfunctioning, since I booted it up the first time! Thank goodness I purchased the Geek Squad protection service.

So annoying to not be able to download iCloud successfully seeing as how that’s why I bought it.

Havent had this computer for 8 months yet and the battery will not charge the machine. The laptop us plugged in and I get the zero power, not charging alert (or it will just shut down). I looked up support on line and apparently this is a 'glitch' with this computer as there were numerous folks posting with the same issue. Stay away from this machine.

So I bought this laptop almost a year a go and the left hinge broke down after 3 months of use while I was trying to change it from table to laptop. At the beginning I thought it was my fault as I might have done it pretty fast but after doing some searching I realized that this is a constant issue happening on all the "Envy" series from HP.

Absolutely horrible performance. After owning this for one month, the keyboard completely stopped working, went to BestBuy and they said it was not under warranty. Also the computer slowed down even though I don’t even have more than 3GBs of documents.

Used it the first day to set up the laptop. On the second day browsed the web and did a couple work documents. Third day refused to turn on. Returned product.

Everything about this laptop was on point. Speed, screen size, design... my decision to return after only a day and a half, the track pad. Doesn’t work at all. I kept clicking and clicking and clicking, no bueno. I’ll pass.

The computer had problems connecting to WiFi. Attempted many times with help of HP support. They suggested I send the computer to them and I decided to return it instead. I won't buy another HP computer.

Don't wast your $$$......Continues to get no drivers error message....Geek Squad looked at it twice and have nor solved the problem.

The dreaded blue screen of death happened after 10 days of use. Took it back and bought a cheaper HP model for $300 less. We'll see what happens...

I've had this laptop going on 4 years and its still going strong with ZERO issues. It still runs fast, no lagging; plenty of storage (even being a crafter and photography enthusiast); no issues with connectivity; battery lofe is still good for a computer of it's age. I will say I don't use touch screen as much as I thought i would, but it still works like a dream, as does flipping the screen around when needed.

I had to return this as it was making so much noise. I was expecting a much better construction from HP. It was an SSD. Sad!!

Itunes not installed or installed properly, iphone still not syncing properly- rushed out by geek squad- expected at least 2 mins to walk thru new system. Thumbs down.

Should have spent the money and got a Apple! I had to replace one speaker never worked correctly!

I was looking for a replacement laptop. I have some vision issues. So far, it meets my needs along with my custom made desktop.

This laptop has been amazing, even after 5 years of owning and using it. This laptop has not diminished at all in quality and speed. I would highly recommend this laptop for anyone wanting a quality laptop.
