I purchased it online and had it sent directly to her college apartment. She uses it to print out her syllabus and other class assignments as needed. It lasts her quite a while. Worth the cost.

Best way to buy ink for the Epson XP-820

The payoff is that I get excellent results. While it's frustrating that the cartridges aren't inexpensive, I certainly do get the best prices at BB.

Epson 212, Total ink cartridge set
