    It doesn’t have much ink. My previous printer’s standard black ink cartridges lasted for at least three months. The Epson 212 lasted me only three weeks. I recently purchased an XL 212 and hope it lasts a lot longer.

    Buy em if you have to, ink jet cartridges are expensive for the amount of ink and printing you may need them for. I don't print all that often, so the ink cartridge will last for at least 6 months.

    I stored this cartridge carefully, didn't open it until I needed it, and followed the instructions given by the printer. The printer doesn't recognize this ink cartridge, although it is a genuine Epson cartridge going into an Epson printer. The printer requested an update the day I attempted to change the ink cartridge. I have contacted Epson and they asked for photos and I have spent a good three + hours on this so far. I am a grandma and happily retired to be able to avoid dealing with this kind of stuff!
