    We had purchased black ink only we thought would fit our model of printer previously and it was slightly off so we went ahead and bought this pack since we needed more of certain colors anyway and it works great but it would be more cost effective for us to be able to buy the black ink 220xl by itself in the future since we use it so much faster.

    Almost all printer ink is expensive, and Epson's is among highest. However, the ink quality if possibly the best. I've used Epson printers for several years and have always been impressed with the ink, but believe all printer ink is vastly overpriced. Because of the price charged for the ink, the printers should be free.
