    Tried after-market ink cartridges for my WF2650 and they failed terribly. Front side of cartridge has grooves unique to each color and the after-market cartridge would not properly seat. After-markets worked for my old Brother printer but not for this one, unfortunately, so you have to use Epson cartridges. Oh, well.

    Pricing of Epson Cartidges are the same whether purchased from Epson in California or Best Buy in the Midwest. It now becomes the question of where do you want your tax dollars going? I'd rather spend in the Midwest rather than California since I live in the Midwest.
