Good photo quality...at a price

My printing is in spurts, so can't see spending $$$ on the XL cartridges and having them sit and dry out in the printer. Jet cleaning also wastes ink... Lots of empty cartridges that I don't know what to do with... All that being said, the printer still makes good color photo prints!
