Epson lack of ethics.

While I could understand that the manufacturer proclaims it is protecting their warranty and product control, the real control lies in the consumer's wallet. Once updates are installed, Epson controls your personally owned printer.

However, the price/value relationship is waaaaaaaay off. These replacements are expensive. So, based on their cost, I think they should last longer. This Epson printer is better those I've owed from HP but I doubt I'll buy another Epson due to the too frequent cartridge replacement cost.
