    When using an Epson printer in is the closest to a Laser type printer. When the ink comes in contact with water it does not run.

    The ink quality is fine, IF you use it within a limited time frame. I end up throwing out some cartridges because even though they can still work fine, they get too old and the printer refuses to recognize them, thanks to Epson's proprietary, predatory software. And it's so expensive to buy individual cartridges. Just let me buy perfectly good third-party cartridges!
