Ink longevity per cartridge

About 600 prints per cartridge for $22.99 or $42.99 to $43.99 for XL which will get you 2.5 times the print. Approximately 1500 prints or 3 cents per page. Seems very expensive to operate this Espon 4630 printer. I am looking for an alternative printer. Espon uses this monster cartridge we a very small amount of ink. Very deceptive! Also you cannot use low cost generics. I use to get a discount on the ink with my rewards card but Best Buy stopped honoring these discounts. This ink is ridiculously expensive. I am through with Espon & disappointed with Best Buy discontinuing honoring the discount on ink.

Thinking about switching printers

Half empty or dry cartridge

Three days after use our printer showed "new cartrige require" request. We only print couple pages a day at max. We were buying cartridges at Best Buy and Amazon - same story. Could not return, because installed the new cartrige a month later.

Not so cool!
