The first thing I say is is that it works perfectly with my Epson printer however I’m just astonished at how expensive this ink keeps getting I mean a hundred dollars for me to print out 40 or 50 pages and then not use it for 2 years and then go to print again ad have to spend a hundred dollars again that’s crazy!

While Epson and other printer manufacturers price-fix ink, I guess it's not Best Buy's fault that printer ink is so expensive. These cartridges should be designed to be refilled. I would think there would be less waste and expense. Thank goodness I don't print very much. No matter what the printer folks tell you about how many pages each cartridge will print, there estimate isn't even close.

Not much for what they charge but that is the price point set by the manufacturer. When these dry up or run out, I'm going to a color laser. I figured out that since we use this printer only minimally, it would be cheaper to throw it in the junk every time these cartridges fail and buy a new printer

Too expensive to say the least! It isn't better than any other and has no reason to cost as much as it does. Epson also makes you use your very expensive ink to realign the printer heads every time you change the cartridge!

The Epson ink cartridges do not last long for any period of time. Must of my printing is Black and white, however, my color cartridges goes out faster then my black cartridges. This is how Epson makes its money from its printers.
