    I’ve never tried to substitute a generic because I’m so happy with the excellent sharpness of Epson color.

    I will never buy another color printer. I seldom ever print in color, yet I’m replacing color cartridges on a regular basis. When these cartridges are gone, I’m going to find a more economical option for black and white printing. The printer will also not work unless you use Epson brand cartridges. Software update snuck in there about a year ago. I should have done my research.
