    You need to replace it too often and it is expensive, but it works good. I rarely print photos, but still have to replace ink about once a year. No other options that I'm aware of.

    I have gone through alot of printers in the past several years. I have to say that the Epson printer that uses this ink has been great. This ink is a little expensive and even the high capacity cartridges dont seem to last that long. But maybe I am printing more than I think I am! They print really great pictures so I think it is worth the cost.

    i don't print a lot, but unlike some other ink jet printers I have owned the Epson cartridges don't seem to dry out as fast. I will have to run a nozzle cleaning if I don't use the printer for several weeks, that is natural, but at least there is still ink to print with afterwards.

    My Epson Artisan 837 prints beautifully but the only thing is that it seems to go through ink cartridges faster than my old HP Deskjet 970 Cse. I still prefer the Epson any day.
