For ink jet printers, have been exclusively using Epsons since my first Stylus in 1994. Only thing I am going to say about them is that they are reliable and print quality is outstanding. I ordered my ET-2800 from Best Buy online to replace my 10-year-old NX-420. It was still printing fine but was starting to have a little difficulty feeding thick stock. Since my ink cartridges were getting low, decided on a new printer rather than buying new cartridges. The ET-2800 was a perfect choice for my needs. Set-up was easy .... however, since all of my computers are are hardwired and I have no need for any wireless connections to the printer, just downloaded the drivers and utilities. One thing to note is that I initially tried something I normally would not do. When I went to the Epson site support page for the printer, it offered up the combo driver/utility package for my Macintosh (running 10.14 ... yes, a little old in the tooth, but will continue using until I am forced to upgrade). The Install Navi app would not launch, giving me an "operating system error". Went back and downloaded the individual drivers/utilities and all was fine. Printer up and running and can print to it from all my computers using printer sharing. Next, went to the Epson site to register the printer. Registration went fine, until I looked at my registered products under my account. Basic warranty for Epsons is 1 year. But, according to its warranty policy, the basic warranty is extended to 2 years if you register the product. When I looked at my product page, it showed a start date 2 days earlier than when I even ordered the printer and an end date 14 months later. Hmm? Called Epson support to ask them about 1) the Install Navi application not launching on my Mac (out of curiosity) and 2) the reason for the incorrect warranty period. What I found was that Epson support seems to have followed the path of the support departments of MANY companies ... totally worthless. They could not come up with a valid reason regarding the Install Navi (other than suggesting my firewall was blocking it). That was nonsense. I didn't press it, since it was not really an issue. Next, even after 3 transfers, no one could explain why I was not given the 1-year extension to my basic warranty ... suggesting that I needed to purchase a warranty extension. Had to read them their policy. Finally, the third rep had to contact their "corporate" office which was going to make the change on my account manually. Okay fine. Went back a few days later to my account to check. Well, they did change it from what previously showed as a 14-month warranty period to 12 months! At this point, I was done. My credit card will cover a second year of warranty, so not worth dealing with them again on the issue. Bottom line is Epson still makes great printers and I will continue using them. If the ET-2800 performs as my others ... at my age, it will probably outlast me.

Have had this printer for over a year. Still on the original ink that came with the printer. Color tanks are large along with the black. Overall printing is decent, wouldn't say perfect. Perfect for everyday use for an office or personal printing.

This is a great little printer for the price. Eco Tanks are definitely the best choice and most affordable when it comes to the price of ink. Easy set up.

I ordered this printer after seeing one of the many commercials out there. I was extremely gratified to see that a company finally left the expensive and wasteful printer cartridges behind, in the past it’s been much cheaper to replace a whole printer than it was to replace the cartridges. This printer was easy going from ordering to setup to printing. I ordered straight from Best Buy and it was delivered to my home the same day. I installed the app on my iPhone and with easy to understand step by step setup in the app I was ready to print in under 10 minutes. I have already ordered backup bottles of ink which were very inexpensive on Amazon. Overall the best printer purchase I’ve ever made.

    A Sublimation Printing Marvel

The Epson EcoTank ET-2800 is not just a regular all-in-one printer; it's a sublimation printing powerhouse waiting to be unleashed. Since I've started using it with sublimation ink instead of the standard cartridges, it has opened up a new world of high-quality, creative printing for my home business. One of the most significant advantages of the EcoTank ET-2800 is its cartridge-free Supertank system. This feature becomes especially beneficial when filled with sublimation ink. The tanks hold a generous amount of ink, which means I can print large volumes without constantly worrying about refills. Plus, switching to sublimation ink was surprisingly easy and hassle-free, making the transition smooth even for a beginner like me. The print quality with sublimation ink is nothing short of amazing. The colors are vibrant, rich, and transfer beautifully onto various substrates, from fabrics to ceramics, creating stunning, professional-looking products every time. Whether I'm printing custom t-shirts, mugs, or unique gifts, the results are consistently impressive. Wireless connectivity adds to the convenience, allowing me to print designs directly from my digital devices. This feature is particularly useful when I need to make quick adjustments or print on-the-go. Durability is another aspect where the ET-2800 shines. Even after numerous print jobs and handling different types of projects, it continues to operate smoothly, proving its reliability and build quality. In conclusion, the Epson EcoTank ET-2800 is an exceptional choice for anyone looking to delve into sublimation printing. Its versatility, ease of conversion to a sublimation printer, and superb print quality make it an invaluable tool for both hobbyists and small business owners. Highly recommended for unlocking your creative printing potential!"

While I haven't been using it long enough to address those issues, I am thrilled with this printer so far. I appreciate not dealing with keeping cartridges in stock that expire and the environmental aspect of the ink tanks. Better than that, the setup was not difficult and the capabilities are satisfying. I have sent prints wirelessly from my phone and computer and been equally satisfied with the swift, quiet response, finding the prints ready before I get to the printer! Have printed multi-pages rapidly and flawlessly. The quality of color and grayscale have not required any adjustments and rivals the best I have seen. I am impressed and quite happy with this investment. Duration will be determined, but verifying that my research has been well-founded to this point.

Very inexpensive. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Even the rare instance of a paper jam is easy to rectify. (Would have never happened if "kitty" would not shove her paw in the slot where the printed page comes out). I've have several Eco Tanks, no they don't last forever, but darn close. I'll never get another printer with this quality and ease of use, other than Epson.

I needed a printer for the family and didn’t want to be forced to buy those expensive cartridges. So I wanted a refillable printer. I looked at many and settled on this one because it has a screen interface to make setup easy and the price was reasonable. Print quality is good for documents and is “ok” for pictures but not the recommended purpose. Ink seems to last forever and is easy to fill. Hooked up to my WiFi 6e router with manual SSID. No issues since setup.

    Capacity to die for!

So delighted with the increased ink capacity. The average print on regular copy paper looks a little muddy if lots of black in the picture, but when printed on glossy photo paper and selecting that option, it is outstanding. I am so thankful I can give up the expensive ink cartridges I purchased monthly with my other printer.

Affordability was great and it was in stock. It was easy to set up with my phone and connect ro my computer throygh wifi. The only issue i had was that I could not figure out how to add pages in a scanned document. Instead, I had to send 11 different attachments. Peibavly a user error worh the software and I was pressed for time.

This is the best printer I’ve owned one for almost a year and didn’t need to refill the ink. What a great change from buying the tiny ink cartridge that only last a few weeks. I liked it so much i purchased a second one as a gift.
