2 hours on the phone and was hung up on

Printer was leaking at first use. Went all over everything and my 3 month old puppy ate a bunch of toxic ink and was covered in it. Just spent 2 hours in the phone with Best Buy and then epson service Center. They hung up on me twice. I will bot be buying any epson products again or using Best Buy. They are selling broken printers and not refunding people or letting them exchange. Giant waste of time and money

    Cheap crap is all.

This might be the cheapest built printer I have ever owned. Got a paper jam. Followed the onscreen instructions "which by the way are almost useless" When the printer opened a piece came flying out. I have no idea how to put it back in or even where exaclty it goes. This printer does not print on both sides. What a waste of paper. I have had decent luck with the epsons in the past but this is seriously just cheap crap.

Never worked after trying to refill the ink.

I bought the ET-2720. The user manual says you can mess up the printer if you don't fill the ink properly. I tried refilling the ink and it hasn't worked since. I bought this to save money and ended up losing a ton. Lesson learned. In the future, if I buy a printer and the manual says I can easily break the printer just by installing the ink then I'll immediately return it.

Poor printer and even poorer customer service

I've had this less than 6 weeks and after minimal use it has already begun to have problems. It now prints only every few lines, leaving blanks lines all the way down each page. I've contacted Best Buy and they want me to buy a protection plan of $100 for them to replace or fix it. What a joke! I won't be shopping here any more.

    Epson ET-2800

Worst printer I've ever owned. Ink smudges on paper, over use of ink so text is all dark and bold, even the scanner stinks (grey bars smudge and don't maintain solid color when scanning). I've owned many epson printers and have always been happy with them, but this one sucks. Unless I just happened to get a lemon, don't waste your money.

    Worst Printer ever

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought this printer a year ago and have had nothing but trouble every time I try to print or copy. The printer head has to be cleaned each time I use the printer. If I print several times in the same day, it works. The next day the printer head has to be cleaned in order to get a readable copy. Have contacted Epson but the whole process is time consuming and frustrating. Ready to go back to HP

    Poor Quality

Can barely print anything. Every time I print something, whether it be in color or just black and white, there are dozens of vertical lines on the page which are really annoying. There are also a lot of ink splotches which are also really annoying. Save your money and buy a better printer.

Christmas gift 2021. Printer died 1/12/2023 - just past warranty. I don't do a lot of printing anymore - but do a test page once a week to keep the print heads fluid. Now it will no longer print. Cleaned the nozzles, ran multiple nozzle checks, Added ink., nothin helped. Will not buy Epson again, going back to Canon.

    Malicious software in Epson printers

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I tried to us an ink I wasn’t supposed to use in it and it saturated the ink pads in the ink waste catch Which wouldn’t be a problem because you can buy new ink pads BUT within the printer software it will not let you use the printer ever again and I only used mine twice ir after soo many prints it shuts down the printer and you can’t use it anymore unless you search around for some hacker software to buy even though the printer is perfectly fine. They are selling this printer not renting it out and I feel they have no right to put malicious software in the printers they sell If it wasn’t for that I would still be buying g Epson printers but now I buy brothers

    Not for college students.

This printer does NOT have any kind of usb port. If you give it to a student going to college they might discover that dorm regulations do not allow wifi or bluetooth connections. Hard wire connction is mandatory and this unit doesn't have it. Fatal design error.

I purchased this printer for sublimation projects. I see a lot of people use it for the same thing but for some reason it’s not working for me. Because I already put the ink in the printer I’m stuck with it.
