Good home printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this is a good choice for a home printer. Initial physical setup is a bit longer due to filling the ink tanks. Follow the included instructions and you will get the printer installed. Part of the downloaded software is a tool to check printer network connectivity. Should the printer go offline it gets the printer reconnected. Suggest you print out a test color document at least weekly so the ink does not dry out

The best printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best printer! I love the fact that the ink is less expensive and lasts so long! My last printer would jam often. This one doesn’t and it prints beautifully!

What a Blessing the Geek Squad Is!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Geek Squad was so respectful and helpful with my questions and helped me get my new Epson printer connected to my little Envy tablet. So patient! He realized my connection cord was bad and found a new one. He also went through my programming and got rid of two pieces of malware.

Disappointing Experience!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m highly disappointed in the overall experience with the Epson ET-2800 printer. What should ultimately be this printer’s positive attributes ends up being some of its greatest downfalls. I wanted my overall experience to be much better, and there was a lot left to be desired. On the positive side, I appreciate the attempt to go against the grain and provide a printer at a slightly higher cost while trying to keep the cost of ink down. Sadly, this statement is overcast by the overall build quality of this printer. At the cost of $200 plus, this printer feels very flimsy and poorly put together. A similar printer I bought just over a year ago, and at half the cost, is much sturdier. This being my initial observation, I wanted to ensure I gave this printer a fair chance. Unfortunately it was discovered that my initial negative perceptions were all but confirmed. The ET-2800 has a hard time doing any of its basic functions properly and just seems to be nothing more than the IDEA of a simple, large ink capacity printer. Pros: Prints nice clear images (usually) No ink cartridges Holds large amount of ink Simple wireless setup Lower cost of ink Cons: Constant paper jams Printer will try to print without paper in it (ink all over inside of machine) Smudges of ink on edges of paper (Rollers constantly getting ink on them) Constant error messages Too many notifications on computer Simple registration doesn’t work (Won’t recognize its own Serial #) Can’t hit close button on registration notification (must use task manager to end process) Slow Color Printing (doesn’t hit the 5ppm) Printer build quality is bad Paper Alignment Issues The biggest disappointment of this printer is how many actual prints you’ll get per full reservoir of ink. Epson’s attempt at convincing its consumers they are going to print “up to” 4,500 Black prints and 7,500 colored prints is absolute marketing bull. Two years of ink right in the box for whom? I understand with the way it’s worded I “might” get that many prints, but I didn’t even come close. I also know there are a lot of factors involved with reaching those numbers, but I was upset to find that I was only able to squeeze out just over 1,000 colored prints before needing additional ink. In addition, I can’t say I have ever owned a printer that pulls the paper through differently every time, making it so the images aren’t in the same spot on every piece of paper. I very rarely got two exact looking images because of their different placements. This printer has no clue where the paper is, whether it’s centered or how far along its come. This seems to be odd considering our technological advancements in recent years. My overall experience with this machine would be considered poor at best. I gave it 2 out of 5 stars because when it is working it does provide nice prints and I can genuinely say I’ve never had an easier wireless setup experience, but that’s about all the positives I can say about it. I would suggest looking for a different printer altogether or maybe even going ahead and taking a chance by spending a little more on a higher Epson model in hopes of better luck. The Epson ET-2800 is a good example of when a company attempts to make something simple and functional and falls completely flat.

Printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer as a back up and in a bind when my EcoTank 15000 ceased to work when the maintenance box filled up. I was worried if the print quality would be as good. It has definitely exceeded my expectations. Please note I use this printer for sublimation for my home business. The set up was easy and the price was reasonable.

ET-2800
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 2800 isn't as fast as the WF 3460 was, and only being able to print or scan one page at a time is a nuisance. Also on the con side, the small window is difficult to see and options are not as self-intuitive as the WF was. But I'm looking forward to saving money on ink cartridges. It's also more compact and lighter, which are good features.

"GREAT PRINTER FOR PHOTOS"
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used nothing but Canon Printers for many years. I am a Professional Photographer {Retired}. But. I still take Pictures. I have had several Canon Printers go bad in a short time. When. I went into Best Buy. I saw these Epson Printers. I went with the least expensive one. Which was on Sale for $199.99. I bought it. Did some test, and also Pictures I took at my Church. All I can say. GREAT. I saw a huge difference in the Colors. I am very Picky. It is not the fastest Printer. So what. I do not mind a couple of minutes more. Also. You can not believe how long the Ink Last. I have Printed quite a bit. The Ink in the tanks barely goes down. They were not kidding when they say. The Ink will last a long time. This is the way to go. No Cartridges to fool with. Just tip the Ink Bottle in the Hole under the small cover. I bought some more Ink. Not Epson Ink. The reviews for the Ink were very good. In the Box. Was 2 Blacks, 1 Cyan, 1 Magenta, & 1Yellow. I paid $32.00 for all of them. From what I see. The Original Inks are going to last a very long time. I just bought them to keep on hand. Forget about Cartridges. This is the way to go. I did get the extra warranty, which is good for 4 years. Just in case. If this Printer holds up down the road. If I have to buy another one. It will be a Epson. Trust me. I did Professional Photography for 35 Years. I know what a Print should look like. I should have changed long ago. They do have some Higher Models. Look at them. If you want a Printer that will Print great looking Prints. GET THIS. You will not be sorry.

Want Professional Photo Quality Portraits?Buy this
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the improvements on this ET2800 - much more quiet, seems to use much less ink.The larger touch screen has clear directions, much easier to read than on the ET-2000. The screen is on a panel that can be rotated to whatever angle you need it to be for easier viewing. Both B&W and color print much faster than my ET-2800. I was really exited when I saw my first color print on Epson Ultra Premium Color Print Glossy paper. WOW, great color and finish - like a professional photo! So far no complaints! And It was easier to set up than almost any printer I have!!!

I am really impressed!!!! Worth Buying!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used my printers for many purposes- professional printing, fun, scanning documents, printing paintings, for jewelry, and much more. When my HP died I decided to find the best printer for what I do right now, resin jewelry, computer painting, printing grandkids art, letters, fun silly stuff, and things like that. I spent days researching and going through all the latest printers, they sure have changed since my first dot matrix printer!!! . Anyway I wanted a printer that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to buy or run and would give me professional results no matter what I printed. I kept coming back to this one finally I bought it. When it came I was shocked at the size of the box, luckily once I opened the second one it wasn't that much bigger than my old printer. I haven't tried all the features yet but it prints so fast it's amazing and the black printing really is better than laser!!! The color printing is so fast and beautiful I couldn't stop looking at it, I showed it to everyone who came by . It prints exactly what is painted or drawn. I compared a printed picture from my old printer and the same picture printed with this printer and the difference was HUGE!!! I recommend this printer for anyone who wants a reasonable priced home printer and professional results. Plus it prints on thicker card stock in the back!!!!
