Very happy with this printer so far. Easy to set up and prints a lot more pages than printers I have had in the past.

Hard to setup. Took a while to connect to wifi. Once I got it set-up its been a nice machine. Prints a bit loud and speed is average. The print is clear. Worth the purchase for light home kr small office printing.

I’ve owned several printers throughout the years ranging from high-end commercial units to entry-level home models and the Epson EcoTank ET-2800 stands out as one of the more budget-friendly printers with great print output for its class.
This is an entry-level printer, so naturally, there are limitations. It’s not a photo printer, so you can’t expect professional-grade image prints. It doesn’t support duplex (double-sided) printing and it prints slower than my other printers. It doesn’t have many advanced features. However, it still delivers impressive performance for my needs. The print quality is clean and sharp for everyday use, making it a great option for small business owners like me who need to print flyers, stickers, and documents without investing in a high-end machine. The cost of the ink is the selling point of this printer. It is cost-effective, easy to maintain with refillable tanks, and perfect for light to moderate printing needs. For its price point, this printer is absolutely worth it.

The Epson ecotank ET-2800 printer is recommended and made for home use. This all-in-one printer is the lowest model in the Epson ecotank printer line up and you can definitely tell as it very cheaply made and had minimal features compared to the industry and it higher model Epson brothers and sisters. Please read below for my full review:
Setup: I thought setup would be quick and easy as most printers are but this printer takes forever although it is still easy. I opted for the intial setup using my mobile device. Once you turn on the printer a QR code pops up on the screen and you can easily use your cell phones camera (Apple or Android) to start the process. The QR code brings you to download their app. I thought the setup was weird as Epson brought you through like a chat or text process. I'm sorry but I don't want to chat with my printer. Set up took almost 15+ minutes in total. Yes you read that right. After filling up the ink with the bottles it took 11 minutes for the printer to set itself up. Don't worry it counts it down for you. I know you only usually setup a printer once but it took forever and I don't want to do it again.
Ink: The printer comes with 4 full bottles of 522 Epson ink (65ML each). Tons of ink, more than I have ever handled in an inkjet printer in my life. I plan for this ink to last a long time. Advertisement says up to 2 years but I am sure I will kill the ink before then. The bottles are designed to not make a mess and allow you to easily flip them into the printer tank slots/transfer ports. The printer will also stop think from flowing once each printer tank is full. Even after dumping the ink in I sill had a little bit in each bottle to top off the printer later (that was a surprise). I do have to say that it was not perfect as the printer did leak a little of the magenta ink on the magenta lid on the printer. I am not even sure how it did this but it did.
Printer: This printer has minimal amount of features. It can print, copy, and scan but I feel as though that's all it can do. It is also equipped with wifi and mobile printing. BIGGEST FLAW: it only has single sided printing. This is horrible as most printers have this. The next models up are equipped with auto 2 sided printing so you will have to spend more to get this. The screen is super small. Actually the smallest colored screen I have ever seen at 1.44 inches. The screen is a waste and if I can barely read it at my young age then many others wont be able to read off it. The paper can only be loaded from the rear and looks like my printers from the 2000's. To a front loading paper tray you have to go a full models up and at this price range I think that is bazar. Almost all printers in this range have a front loading paper tray. I expect a rear paper tray (which is stinking out of my printer now and wasting space) on a $19.99 printer.
Quality: This is where I feel like where they get you. Okay you are going to save all this money on ink, right? Well then they are going to give you the cheapest quality printer known to man. While not broken, there was plastic flap already off the printer which I discovered as soon as I opened the box. Everything on this printer is cheap and flimsy. I mean everything. I expect the ink to last longer than the printer.

Did a lot of research on this printer for sublimation. It was super easy to convert and set up. Quality of my prints are great, it’s quiet and a reasonable size.

I’ve never owned a printer that I’ve been happy with. They get outdated quick, ink/toner is expensive, software issues, or printer head clogs. So far this one had functioned as expected. I was disappointed that it doesn’t print on both sides, It didn’t occur to me that this wasn’t a standard feature. Every printer I looked at printed double sided. My fault for failing to notice. Print quality is good. I have reservations about the ink tanks being built into the printer but hopefully this will continue to keep the price of refills low. All in all I’d say it performs as expected. In hindsight I would have paid more to have multi page scanning, double sided printing, and have the paper contained in a tray.

The Epson EcoTank ET-2800 is not just a regular all-in-one printer; it's a sublimation printing powerhouse waiting to be unleashed. Since I've started using it with sublimation ink instead of the standard cartridges, it has opened up a new world of high-quality, creative printing for my home business.
One of the most significant advantages of the EcoTank ET-2800 is its cartridge-free Supertank system. This feature becomes especially beneficial when filled with sublimation ink. The tanks hold a generous amount of ink, which means I can print large volumes without constantly worrying about refills. Plus, switching to sublimation ink was surprisingly easy and hassle-free, making the transition smooth even for a beginner like me.
The print quality with sublimation ink is nothing short of amazing. The colors are vibrant, rich, and transfer beautifully onto various substrates, from fabrics to ceramics, creating stunning, professional-looking products every time. Whether I'm printing custom t-shirts, mugs, or unique gifts, the results are consistently impressive.
Wireless connectivity adds to the convenience, allowing me to print designs directly from my digital devices. This feature is particularly useful when I need to make quick adjustments or print on-the-go.
Durability is another aspect where the ET-2800 shines. Even after numerous print jobs and handling different types of projects, it continues to operate smoothly, proving its reliability and build quality.
In conclusion, the Epson EcoTank ET-2800 is an exceptional choice for anyone looking to delve into sublimation printing. Its versatility, ease of conversion to a sublimation printer, and superb print quality make it an invaluable tool for both hobbyists and small business owners. Highly recommended for unlocking your creative printing potential!"

Printer functions nicely, was easy to set up with very good connectivity to wireless network with no issues. Filling the printers ink wells was very easy and clean without any ink spilling, Paper capacity is great holding 100 sheets in the feeder tray. The only negative is all though it prints on both sides of a sheet, it’s not automatic but manual, which means less moving parts to breakdown. All in all it’s a recommended item I would purchase again.

Epson is truely helping this and future generations by designing better and faster printing hardwares The huge and. Easy to fill ink tanks will put the drudgery of replacing cartridges in the past
Unpacking the printer is easy and its supper lightweight. The four (4) tanks fill in about a minute each. There is a long waiting time for it to pump and fill the printgeads and download new firmware. So after a half hour I was all set.
The ET2800 will make up for this investment of time by producing clear and sharp Black and White prints at the rate of 10 pee minute.
The app allows wireless WiFI scanning and printing. Color prints are clean and streak free. Time will tell but so far five stars
I hope to see more printers use the tank standard so ink becomes easy to keep on hand.

Easy to setup, if printing on both sides you need to manually flip for the second print. Didn’t realize that when I bought it, for the price I paid it should flip on its own. Smaller, not bulky. Doesn’t hold as much paper as my old printer. Looking forward to see if I am going to save money by using tank ink vs cartridge. Have had this a few weeks, so far I am ok with it.

I really do like this printer, I truly hope it lasts longer than the last one I had. I don’t use it daily but I do need it when the need arises. Last one I didn’t even finish the first ink fill. I really wish they’d sell a plain old printer without a scanner because it’s something that is rarely used by me and my family.

Easy setup, but took multiple tries to accept my internet password. Already saving on ink! A bit on the noisy side, but quieter, and faster, than my older HP.

These ecotank printers are really great! You just need to print something about once a week to keep the print head moist so it doesn't dry out but even doing that, the ink has lasted a long time! Highly recommend as a parent. For high quality photos, it's not fabulous but it's been good enough to print for pictures to put up around the house, in my opinion. Speed isn't bad for an inkjet. Touch screen needs improvement but it's no worse than my brother laser printer. Maybe the higher end models are better but it isn't worth it for me.

So for so good,I love that the ink last a long time ,I have been printing everyday since i got me epson printer and still have a full tank of ink. Pluse it was easy to connect to my wifi. The only thing that i dont like is that everytime i print i have to go push buttons on the printer for it to start printing it keeps saying wrong paper tray or wrong paper i tried going to settings and fixing it but it still doing it.

I was under the impression from the salesman that this printer could load from the front or the back - it only loads paper from the back. It does not automatically print two-sided. I would never have purchased this printer if I had known that I would have to manually reload the paper for two-sided coying.
