I was excited to to try the Epson for the refillable ink and low cost per page. Huge mistake. The first 6 months I owned it, I would have given it 5 stars. After just over a year...I hate this thing! Look at the other negative reviews. The heads constantly clog and the built in clean function does very little to resolve. You have to look into third party advice on youtube to remove the cover and clear the clogs with cleaning cleaning solution and a syringe. Terrible design. I hate this printer so much. Do not believe the 5 star reviews. I guarantee they have not owned the printer very long and think like I did. It will start clogging on you every time you print.

First time buying an Epson printer and it was a mistake! Had the printer for less than 3 months and only printed about 5 pages total before it had an error of a paper jam with NO PAPER inside. Called support and they sent a REFURBISHED printer to replace my brand new printer that didn’t work. I receive the replacement, hook it up, and it will NOT print any ink on the paper. Called support multiple times and spend 2 days doing “power cleaning” and still only blank pages. Save your money and buy a different brand. I now have 2 useless printers to send back. Of course Best Buy has a 60 day return period, and it is just under 90 days, so I guess I am stuck losing $200!!

So disappointed. Had to return to Best Buy. I was looking forward to the “no ink to buy for 2 years” hype. Printer clogged and stopped working about 5-10 pages into using. Several attempts at cleaning, realignment etc.proved pointless. Kudos to Best Buy local store. Handled the return correctly.

HAD AN EPSON BEFORE (JUNK) WOULD NOT READ INK CARTRIGE. BEST BUY TALK ME INTO ANOTHER EPSON. SCREEN TO SMALL, NO INSTRUCTIONS BOOK. HARD TO OPERATE. BUT THE INK BOTTLES ARE GREAT. DO NOT UNDERSTAND PRINT OUTS WHEN YOU CLEAN CERTAIN PARTS. I WILL DEFINATLY BUY DIFFERENT BRAND NEXT TIME. I HAVE HAD IT WITH THIS COMPANY.

Real Piece of Junk. Wireless goes out after about a year. Its all over the internet. Do a search on google and Youtube. Im pretty good at IT repairs for my career and this Junk is not worth the time it takes dealing with the wireless problems. If you hard wire it with a cat5 cable to your router, it MIGHT work longer. But it has a cheap wireless hardware inside it that fails. Do not buy it

You better hope you never have to clean the printer head because it is impossible to get to. It is an okay printer but unless you use it daily, I would stick with cartridges.

Printer is not working as expected on the print quality. Major issue is the print quality.

Works OK now but keeps having messages that don't make sense. I had to call twice to get help because it was just printing nonsense or blank pages. Used up a lot of the black ink when it was printing nonsense.

The best. I recommend 100 %....... Good item. Good print

I am still learning with this Epson printer, but I'm not particularly fond of it yet.

Takes 5-10 minutes to print a color picture. Otherwise ok i guess. Not overly impressed for $250.

Epson says this is a "stress free" printer. Unfortunately, I cannot use it when I needed to because I don't have wifi and Epson unbelievably haven't included the USB cable necessary. What a terrible, pennypinching company - good grief, include the cable and charge the honest price OR charge the fake price and CLEARLY label the box to show that they left part of the equipment out to get themselves a sale by offering a cheaper price - that way their "stress free" promise would be valid. This is my first Epson printer and I will never buy Epson ever again, the inconvenience this had caused me is huge. What a disgrace.

I love the concept of these printers because cartridges are not environmental friendly and overall expensive. With that being said, ecotank printers have there own downfalls. If you want to do light printing, not everyday, the ink dries up and when you do need to print your ink probably has expired and gone bad, colors distorted and no way to drain the tanks so that you can replace the ink. The only pro is that thanks to these printers, the prices of cartridges has dropped, but for light duty printing I do not recommend these units. Now I've discarded a $200 printer because the ink is expired with no way to replace it. What a design flaw!!!

It doesn’t keep the WiFi signal. I have to keep resetting it.

The refillable ink tank is the best feature. Control panel is difficult to navigate. Does not make 2 sided copies. Plastic parts feel like they could easily break. Doesn't communicate well with computer or phone.

The printer has been fine so far, a few minor problems. The biggest problem is with Epson and all there required software and firmware updates, and agreements. It locks up your computer and in general drives you crazy. Avoid.

Did not work out of the box. Printed first page, then Jammed 3-4 times. Clearing Jam was difficult, and then, paper jam error continued after cleared. Googled how to fix, and nothing worked. I have had this thing exactly one day, and it's going back. Going back to a cheaper Cannon printer. So much for trying something new.

BUYER BEWARE......We've had this printer for a little over a year and I got an error message about the ink pad needed to be changed. WHAT A MESS IT HAS BEEN. You can buy the ink pad online and try to change it your self. Youtube makes it seem so easy......only its not. You need a key to rest the ink pad and you have to pay some website for this key or take it in to be serviced. I would have never bought this knowing that I would have to take my printer in for $100 service fee to have it reset.

A business we deal with purchased one and couldn’t say enough good things about it. Then my neighbor bought one and also had great reviews. Now I’m loving mine, particularly not replacing cartridges constantly.

2 months in and cannot use. Keeps saying there is a paper jam. Waste of money.
