Working with artwork color use always varies by the project taking shape. Eco tank fills a specific task in how I now monitor my ink use and need. Besides obvious ink display the scanning quality is another reason for my purchase. Thank you Epson.

Really like option to use bottled ink/colors and no cartridges. From other users of printer have heard that if you don't print often that the ink lines can become clogged and you have to take them out, clean them and then reinstall. I usually print something weekly and have not experienced this issue yet.

Print quality is good as long as I'm not running the original through the document feeder. The feeder and the scanner have been nothing but problems though (scanner issue is probably due to the feeder being faulty). At first I thought maybe we left a piece of packing tape on it somewhere, but it apparently just feeds the paper through wonky - it's noisy and grabs multiple sheets and, if copying them, it warps the copies.

Not only do I no longer have to worry about replacing cartridges, but there are a lot of other great features that have been added.
