Works as it should. Lots of features. Wish it could do duplex copying from the ADF. Seems duplex printing is a little light on the print quality.

If I could give it a zero I would. Absolutely terrible product. It broke after a year and they only give you one year warranty. I guarantee that is why. The line or something busted and ruined my desk with the ink. Tried to get help from 5 people Best Buy and epson and no one could help me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Love, love, love. So much easier to fill the older models of the "refillable" types. Also soooo much cheaper than the cartridge type printers.

I have never been able to get it to work with my IPhone. Otherwise, I love it. Nothing I do makes my IPhone speak to it. Never had that problem before.

Purchased this new printer for the family. Being WiFi and email connected the whole family can now print from one source. Large ink storage will save time and money.

This printer took forever to scan and fax what I needed. I was not looking for a printer for photo's....just an all in one...printer/scanner/fax. Way too slow for me

No issues so far. Was hoping photo prints would be a little better but knew this was not designed for such. It’s acceptable. The biggest draw was the savings on your ink.

Horrible Printer. Just Avoid This Altogether.

After hearing good things about the Epson Eco-Tank printer models from a co-worker, I opted to purchase one after my reliable (2-letter abbreviation) printer died at work. Man, was I wrong. Quick Summary: - Loud - Awful print quality & sub par color - Awful scanning quality & horrible software First off, set up of this thing takes more than 30 minutes, and that’s after the unboxing & removal of all the packing tape to keep things in place. Loading the ink into the tanks, then the priming of the print heads (about 15 minutes), followed by no fewer than 6 different “printer alignment” pages you have to go thru. The printer will print a page with a series of lines or blocks which you have to determine which looks the best and punch that in on the screen. It was like doing the old “Can you find the fork in this drawing” games. (Compare this to an HP alignment process which is a single print out, you put it on the scanner glass, it reads it & makes its own determination and you’re done). Finally, after staring at lines & blocks, most of which all looked the same leaving you hoping you got the right answer, your printer is ready for… More set up. Adding to the wireless is pretty easy, it only becomes a problem if you want to statically set the IP address, at which point any devices you had connected to it are permanently lost, and the Epson software will never discover it again, even if you try to manually configure it (I’m an IT professional, so I think I know how to set up a printer with a static IP address). Hard reset of the network settings and I guess I’ll settle for the DHCP address. Print quality is downright LOUSY. It was blurry around the edges on black print, just not sharp at all. Colors were faded and muted, not vibrant like my previous printer. Reds were more like a dark pink, blues were a cyan, and frankly no colors popped. Printing is also LOUD. The paper feeder and the print mechanism both were substantially louder than any other printer I have used, aside from a dot matrix printer back in the 80s. Scanning is HORRIFIC. When I say blurry, I mean blurry – even at 300 DPI – which should be more than sufficient for a simple printed document scan. Worse yet, after a full day of ownership and probably no more than 75 pages scanned thru the document feeder over the course of a full day (maybe 2-3 pages per scan), a double black line appeared on every scan job, right down the middle. Now, usually when this happens with a scanner or copier it’s just something on the glass. Nope. Cleaned the glass and cleaned the see-thru spot on the scanner lid where the ADF would slide the paper thru to scan it. Lines were still there. And just when you think this review couldn’t be any worse, there’s the Epson scanning software from their website. While it allows you to configure all the usual settings, the one thing it does not allow you to do is to choose where to save & what to name each document upon scanning. No, you have to set a default name (some hash of characters that includes a set prefix and then the date and time) AND a default location. So if you scan something, and perhaps want it in another folder, you have to go to the “default” location, rename the document, then move the document. Every other scanning software out there scans the document & then gives you the ability to save it in the location with the name you choose. Not Epson. Oh, and if you leave the scanning software open on your computer for more than 15 minutes the software times out, forcing you to close it, but then upon reopening it can no longer find the printer. You have to turn the printer off & then back on, then relaunch the software to continue scanning. So, to recap: 1) Over 30 minutes to setup. 2) Lousy print quality. 3) Lousy print color. 4) Extremely loud. 5) Scanning is blurry & horrible, even at high DPIs. 6) Scanning develops non-cleanable lines after just a few scans. 7) Scanning software was written by someone without any concept of a good UI or UX. 8) Scanner software times out after 15 minutes, at which point you have to reboot the printer to get back online. So less than 30 hours after purchasing, I returned the printer to Best Buy and got a more reliable (2-letter abbreviation brand) printer for my desk. I like the idea of the Eco-Tank, I really do. I’m tired of having to stock 8 extra cartridges, which are ridiculously expensive. But where the ink tank concept is great, the printer swings & misses for a quick strikeout. And with a price point as high as this one (as compared to much less expensive printers), you should expect more -- a lot more -- than Epson delivered. Just avoid this printer altogether.
