    Scanner and Connectivity

    Took so much time trying to connect to network (gave up) then just hard wired it. Now having nothing but problems using the scanner, very unhappy. One of the most expensive and frustrating things I've bought in a long time! Wanted to return but outside return window, lame.

    The Yellow color did not work and the scanner feed left a line on my paper. Due to Best Buy's not-so-friendly return policy I could not exchange it for another printer, even the same one, but had to return it to Epson for a remedy. No telling how long that will take.

    I needed to print documents with multiple pages. Jammed sometimes on each page. I even bought Epson paper in case the paper was the cause. I could not deal with clearing it and took it back. So disappointed.

    Terrible Scanner

    Printer works adequately. Scanner is terrible - papers constantly jamming for multiple copies - long pause time having to re-set and then scanning each page separately. Not good for a Home Office and would never buy again or recommend.

    Initial set up of the printer was quite user friendly. The ink tanks were simplistic to fill. I wore gloves with the expectation that the ink would spill/drip but neither occurred. Connecting the EcoTank to our Wifi was challenging. It would not connect until I installed the Epson printer app on my iPhone. The LCD screen instructions for ink testing were simple to follow. The LCD screen is pixeled and very small. I found it easier to use a stylus rather than my finger on the screen. The set up time took less than 25 minutes from taking the printer out of the box to performing the ink tests. EcoTank prints great quality photos. The colors are crisp and sharp. The printer produced 5 double-sided documents in under 30 seconds. Five single-sided documents in under 15 seconds. The printer is extremely loud, I set it up in my home office and could hear it printing from other areas of my home. After printing about 50 documents I noticed the ink wells were half empty. As the EcoTank is marketed for heavy ink users this was quite concerning. Another concern was the quality of the black and white copies. The top half inch and bottom half inch of the documents appeared smudged. Overall, the EcoTank is a versatile user friendly home computer. This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-4760 All-In-One Super Tank Printer that I received free of charge to do beta test and review.

    Did not print anything! Have ownes many printera ... this was my firat Epson. It "printed" blank sheets ... nothing ... no text ... no pics. Sorely disappointed... especially at this price point.

    Thos is a crap print I cannot say anything good about it. Repeated driver up dates, failed to improve performance. Tried everything to improve performance, and all of my efforts failed.

    Very disappointing. Constant “NO PAPER IN TRAY”. Message wouldn’t reset. Epson support no help. Research found dozens of chat rooms showing this problem nationwide. Thanks to you I exchanged it.

    An absolute piece of garbage. The wifi disconnects constantly. you have to turn off/on for each single print job. Sometimes, one page would take 5 mins to print. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

    Ink lines clog

    I've had this printer for almost three years now. I've filled the ink wells only once, upon purchase. I don't use the printer heavily, but I have definitely used it enough that I would have had to replace ink cartridges multiple times now. I only occasionally have to clean the heads between long periods of not using it. I still have plenty of ink. I wouldn't go with any other type of printer anymore...this thing is great. The print quality is great, the scan quality is great, I couldn't ask for more for my usage needs. The only thing I've had problems with is the fact that no matter what, the app that I downloaded on my computer, the Epson app, will not recognize the computer on my network when trying to install updates...but it still recognizes the printer for everything else...odd.

    Had high hopes. Those hopes were dashed. Can't even blame Covid. The feeder was absolutely awful! Complete fail on that which makes the unit just a printer. Returned it!

    The EcoTank ET-4760 all in one Supertank printer has exceeded my expectations! It's stylish looking and can be used at home or small office. It prints, faxes, scans, copies all in one. The machine is small considering all it can do. Doesn't take up much space so finding a home for it was no issue at all. There's no more having to change ink cartridges as this has refillable, built in compartments, with easy to see window of how much ink is left. The paper tray holds 250 sheets or you can manually feed it of you'd like. Scanning can be sent to your computer, phone or even your cloud. This machine is also compatible with smart printing. Definitely recommend this printer! This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-4760 All-In-One SuperTank Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
